Balance correct but missing transactions

The balance Simplifi shows for my checking account is correct. The problem is I don't see some of the transactions my bank shows. It looks like the are accounted for in my balance but I can't find them. It appears there are at least 4 transactions missing.

    Is this still occurring? If so, I'd suggest starting by following the steps outlined in this Support Article to see if any of the listed steps help to resolve this matter for you.

    Thank you for taking the time to post to the Community, although I apologize that you're experiencing this behavior in Simplifi.

    We did have a known issue where transactions weren't downloading or clearing, but the balance was correct on connected accounts, however, it was resolved last week.

    With that being said, are you still seeing an issue with this? If so, I would suggest following the steps outlined in this Support Article to see if they help to resolve this matter for you.

    If the issue persists, I would suggest resetting the connection on any affected accounts by following the steps listed here, to see if doing so gets transactions to download properly for you going forward.

    I've reset the account, and the problem persists. 

    I spent two days after paying for your product linking transactions and setting up billing. This is a disaster. Please advise. 

    I also entered descriptions for all relevant transactions for the past 90 days. Please don't tell me I have to start over again. The data is clearly in your ledger, as the amount matches that on my online bank's site exactly. It's just that the transactions are not there.

    Please advise as to how I can escalate this to support.

    I spoke with support today, and they acknowledged that customers are still experiencing this issue.

    Thanks for posting back!

    To clarify, the above-cited issue regarding the balance updating but no transactions downloading has been resolved, and we have not seen the issue pop back up. We do, however, have an emerging issue regarding Reminders showing as 'Past Due' and the associated transaction missing from the register -- https://community.simplifimoney.com/discussion/1992/new-7-29-21-reminders-are-showing-as-past-due-and-the-associated-transaction-is-missing/p1?new=1

    With that being said, are your missing transactions only for Bill and/or Income Reminders? If so, I would definitely suggest following the Alert for any updates, as well as following the provided workaround steps. If not, I'd be happy to take a closer look at this with you, and potentially escalate for missing transactions.

    This post best explains my current experience. Went to check on my accounts today and the balance is correct but the transactions are missing. I went through all of the other checks from a previous post.

    To clarify, are the transactions in question for Bill/Income Reminders? If so, did you receive a Notification regarding the associated Reminder, and has the Reminder been removed from the Upcoming section?

    This happened to me too...except with a CC account.

    Troubleshooting steps I've done so far.
    1. I checked all the things listed in our Support Article.  None apply to me.  None fixed it.
    2. I've gone transaction-by-transaction and checked off every single one comparing my CC statement and my Simplifi register.  That's how I know one transaction for $40 is missing.
    3. I've double checked step #2 several different ways using filters, searches, etc.
    4. I changed the status from Pending to Completed.

    With the transaction missing from my register, I checked the online amount according to my CC vs. the amount Simplifi says I should have.  They match exactly.

    When I enter the missing transaction in my register, the Balance shown in Simplifi is EXACTLY $40 off.

    In my case, this is a recurring bill...


    Note that June and July are missing.  Note that the CC # changed.

    Something happened - I still don't fully understand recurring bills - and two months are missing.  June 19 was charged to 2660 and July 19 was charged to 0089, but processed on Aug 4th instead of July 19th.  Though I haven't checked yet, I suspect that I will also find this same basic problem in my CC ending 0089 as well.

    Sorry to jump on someone else's string, but this is exactly my problem too.  Maybe mine detailed info can help to track down the problem and get it fixed for everyone!

     Following up on this after my similar problem was resolved.

    I worked with Simplifi Chat and here are the steps to fix it.  Thank you Coach Jorge!
    1. Add missing transaction.
    2. Change transaction status from "Pending" to "Cleared".
    3. Refresh page.
    4. Check balance of Simplify vs. online bank.
    One really useful bit of info was...


    The way Simplifi calculates your balance is:
    Bank balance +/- pending transactions = Simplifi Balance.


    So, two takeaways:


    A.) I guess that means that I can't always trust that every transaction is there in my register if my balance is correct.  If something goes wrong, something doesn't match up, a transaction gets deleted, etc., etc., etc., it could be almost impossible to even notice it's missing without checking EVERY SINGLE TRANSACTION from the beginning of your account.  That's a scary idea!
