I am not sure how to remove the overdue tag when a recurring transaction is entered in the account. Will the transaction be matched with the entry from my bank?
Hello! I'm Coach Tappan. Thanks for your question about removing overdue tags on recurring transactions. I'll be happy to help you with that. The first thing to do is to check what date has been entered in the list of Recurring transactions for that charge. One the payment has been made, the Overdue Status tag should be removed. I just tested that by changing the date of one of my Recurring bills from 10/29 to 10/14, and the Status changed to Overdue. When I changed it back, that Status disappeared. I'd be interested to know if changing the date once the payment has been made solves your problem. Let us know!

Do the the payee and amount have to match exactly in order for the "Overdue" tag to be cleared? Often, pending transactions aren't the same payee as when they clear.
@RSKadish The Payee and Amount should not have to match exactly for the "Overdue" status to update. Simplifi is designed to match transactions within a certain variance. Our team has spent a lot of time building the logic Simplifi uses when matching transactions and it's pretty spot on. However, it may not match everything as expected. If the recurring reminder has a date of 10/1/19 and an amount of $52.32, but the transaction downloads with the date of 10/21/19 and an amount of $60.45, even if the payee name is exactly the same it's not going to match those transactions. Instead, Simplifi will download it as a new separate transaction.
