Missing Biller Connection for Wells Fargo Credit Accounts

The Account add for Well Fargo Credit Accounts works fine, but there is not a similar link to add as a Connected biller, I can Manual log into my Wells Fargo loan from the main Wellsfargo URL as listed in the overall Wells Fargo app, but when I try in Simplifi It returns an error that the login information my be incorrect and I verified several times its the same I use as the connected Account that works

    Hello @Jrmclean,

    Thank you for reporting this issue to the Community, although I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties connecting your Wells Fargo Credit Accounts in Simplifi.

    I'm thinking that you would use the option listed as "Wells Fargo" when attempting to connect these types of accounts to a Biller, however, I am also seeing from my end that the login details are incorrect, and that you've actually tried a few different 'Wells Fargo' options. 

    With that being said, I have gone ahead and gotten this reported to our Service Provider, and I will keep an eye on the Ticket and let you know what they say/advise, and we will go from there. :smile:

    Thanks for your patience as this was being researched!

    You should have also received an email from Quicken with this information, however, I wanted to be sure to also touch base with you. We've received a response back from our Service Provider regarding connecting Wells Fargo as a Biller that states:

    "Thank you everyone for your patience as we have continued to work towards a resolution for this issue. We are very sorry to say that Wells Fargo has been taking steps to enhance security that may impact some third-party apps where your credentials may be reported as invalid when they are not, or you may need to enter a two-factor code very frequently. As unfortunate as it is, it appears that some of those steps appear to be actively blocking our system from accessing their services on behalf of our users, as well as other apps and services.

    Please continue to review and pay your bills directly from the Wells Fargo app or website to keep up-to-date on your bills and balances for the time being."

    With that being said, it looks like this connection is being worked on and will not be available in Simplifi until the issues are resolved. Sadly, I don't have an ETA to provide on a resolution, but hopefully this connection becomes available for you in the near future.
