Double authentication and BofA

Hi there, I've noticed that nearly every time I open Simplifi, I need to authenticate with my BofA account.

I open the app, see the BofA prompt, check my text messages, copy the code, paste it into Simplifi.

It's super tedious and no other finance app I'm aware of requires this.

Is there a way I can prevent this from happening?

    Thanks for posting your inquiry to the Community!

    Sadly, we have no control over the MFA prompts from your various banks, as these are made by the banks directly. The only thing we can recommend is to disable MFA with the bank, however, this can definitely lead to a lack of security. More details on MFA prompts can be found here.

    With that said, however, we do have some good news when it comes to MFA for Bank of America specifically. Although we don't have an exact ETA yet, we will be upgrading the connection for Bank of America to use their OAuth API, which should prevent the persistent MFA prompts. I'd suggest following along here for any updates.

    For added context, I use the mobile app and desktop browser experience, and I see the prompt in both cases with equal frequency.
