Harley Davidson Credit Card - US Bank Will Not Connect (edited)

Error message FDP-390, "Your account connection no longer works, but we have a new &
improved way to connect to your financial institution..."

There is no improved way..

I enter my ID and password and same message as above. I can go to the web site with no problem. Please fix.

    Hello @Clark,

    Thanks for reaching out! This error occurs when the instance of the bank you are trying to connect to has been discontinued. You will need to reauthorize the accounts with the new active instance of that bank. Before reauthorizing, you'll need to ensure all accounts with the impacted bank instance are turned into manual accounts. You can do this by following the below steps:

    1. First, hover over the panel on the left-hand side and select Settings.
    2. Select Accounts.
    3. Locate the Account you'd like to make 'manual' and click the three dots at the end.
    4. Select Make manual.
    5. Click Make Manual to confirm.

    Once all applicable accounts are manual, you'll need to go through the add account flow to reconnect:

    1. From the Accounts menu, select +Account in the upper left.
    2. If your bank is already shown, you can click on the image to select it or just begin typing the bank's name into the Search bar to let Quicken Simplifi find it.
    3. Enter the User ID and Password that you use to sign in to your bank's website, then click Connect.
    4. After entering your credentials, Quicken Simplifi will present you with a list of the accounts that it's found and the Action that Quicken Simplifi will take, such as Add to Quicken Simplifi, Link To an existing account within Quicken Simplifi, or Don't add to Quicken Simplifi. At this point, you must select the Link To option and then tell Quicken Simplifi what account to link it to. If Add is chosen instead, it can result in duplicate accounts.

    @Coach Jon , I completed your instructions about and get this screenshot attached. I can't find the harley davidson Visa US Bank credit card when in search. What now? Btw....I can get it updated in [removed] and on the web.

    @Coach Jon ...that is not the site. This is a harley-davidson Visa through US Bank.

    Hello @Clark,

    Yes, but since the card is through US Bank, the account may be brought up when trying to connect through a US Bank instance. If you could provide the URL you usually visit to log in to your bank site, I could also verify if we have another instance that matches.

    @Coach Jon ...the US Bank will not accept my login and password. Here is the web site I log into. It is a quicken CC.

    Thanks for the confirmation. Have you tried the Harley-Davidson Financial Services instance we have in Quicken Simplifi to see if that works for you?

    @Coach Jon , @Coach Natalie y it does not work. The card is through US bank not Harley services. Can you get someone to help on this. I've not had any problems with this CC until today. I've tried everything at this point. Simplifi must have removed the site. Please get some technical support. I've given you the web site. My other finance programs are not having any issues, ie. [removed]. It is a Simplifi issue. Clark

    Hello @Clark,

    Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, it looks like the one you were connected to has been disabled. Since we cannot find an instance that works for you regarding this financial institution, it must no longer be supported.

    I would suggest creating an idea post and requesting this financial institution to be added to Quicken Simplifi. Be sure to give the URL you use in the description of the post if that is what you would like to do.

    @Coach Jon , @Coach Natalie , that's [removed - profanity] and unacceptable as I have many transactions running through this CC. THAT MAKES SIMPLIFI WORTHLESS! I would like an immediate refund for my yearly subscription that was just charged to my credit card today. I AM DONE! Let me know when I can expect a refund.

    Btw...I only have one out of three accounts that now connect...the rest are now manual.

    I do apologize for the trouble, and understand the frustration. We did check on both the Quicken Mac & Windows side as well and it appears the instance has been discontinued. We can go ahead and process your requested refund since your subscription was renewed yesterday if you would like, just let us know and we will get that done for you.

    I cannot believe after 3 years that I have been with Simplifi ,now I am told that I will no longer have my Harley Davidson visa CC connection through US Bank. Has the technical team been involved?

    Do you agree with this because it don't? Why does [removed] and Credit Karma not have a connection Issue? Go ahead and process my refund if this is where we at because I can't live without this credit card connection.

    Hello @Clark,

    Thanks for the response. To clarify, now that you have canceled your subscription you would not be able to access your account to retrieve your data, however, all that you would generally be able to retrieve is the transactions that you could download in any case if you did have access.

    In this case, I would suggest going through the CCPA process and requesting your data through that avenue. You would also be able to request the deletion of your data through CCPA as well. Here is the link you can utilize for that process: https://www.quicken.com/privacy/us/ccpa/ca
