Agreed. Unacceptable that a connection issue with a top financial institution like Merrill is not a high priority for Quicken to get fixed. I'm either going to have to dump Merrill or dump Quicken.

Yeah it's been 3 months - I actually liked the product too but I will have to let it expire at the end of the month and switch services because of the Merrill connection.

I also canceled my renewal over this. I'm not going to pay a price increase when I can't connect one my main accounts for several months

This is just not right anymore. How is it possible that Quicken has not repaired the link to Merrill Lynch yet. [removed] I’ve had it!

What exactly is the issue? Is it on the Quicken side or on the ML side? What are the steps being followed? Glad to know you "are working on it" what is being done or are you feeing us a line?

How is it possible that this is still an issue. It's absolutely ridiculous. None of my other accounts where I link Merrill has this problem (Credit Karma, Wealthfront, etc).

i heard they are blaming Merrill, but not sure it is. Regardless - want less lip service.

I do not see issues in [removed] or [removed]. Seems that it's a Quicken issue. Would be great to have an update, since it's been 3 months and the suggested fixes I've received from customer service and chat have made the problem worse (disconnect and reconnect accounts, make accounts manual…)

They probably use different companies that connect to the banks. In the case of Simplifi, the connection is one of something like Intuit (the original) or Plaid connectors (there may be a 3rd company too). And, we don't necessarily get to choose which one is used (or have access to all of them). My point here, though, is that Quicken uses a 3rd party for the bank connections, and can only wait for them to fix it, or switch to a different connector company for that bank.

I have tried to access my Merrill Lynch account to upload for my Accountant before year end. It looks like Simplify and Quicken have been working on this issue without resolution for quite a while.(Several Months)
I've just been notified of my annual cost increase in my Simplifi account, and wonder why I should continue if this problem cannot be resolved in a timelier manner?

It's been a couple of days that my Merrill accounts are not connecting to Simplifi. Simplifi says the issue is being investigated. Anyone else seeing same issue?

I have the same issue. Apparently there aren’t enough ML clients that matter to Quicken?? I’ve called and spoken with Quicken tech support (level 2) on multiple occasions and they are claiming ML is the issue. As a ML WM client I reached out to ML tech level 1 through my advisor and was told absolutely nothing has changed on ML aggregate setup in over 2 years now. Quicken isn’t doing there part here. Nothing takes this long to fix, nothing!

I cancelled my service because of Merrill. Simplifi is too expensive for the level of service it offers (low to none)

The known issue with Merrill Lynch is still being worked on. Unfortunately, we don't have any additional news to share or an ETA to provide for a resolution. As soon as we do, though, we will be sure to update our Community Alert accordingly! You can bookmark the Alert to receive automatic updates.

Does anyone at Quicken read these messages? It's now going on 4-5 months with a known problem that should easily be corrected. I'm just not understanding why this issue is not a priority. Really like the product but am now searching for an alternative that can connect to my accounts at ML.

I am able to connect to Merrel Lynch with another Money Management product so I know it can be done very easily. I know mine has a choice of 3 separate connectors to use to link to ML . Unfortunately for a lot of people, going to another product requires a lot of time and effort. Most have a lot of time invested in this product but feel uneasy that all of their time has been wasted. When accounts can not be linked, it can’t be considered a complete assessment of their financial situation. You would at least in the other community forums remind us at least once a month if there is any change but we are not even getting that now. Don’t make people have to start all over because if they move, they might like the other product better.

I gave up waiting on this and switched my ML account to manually while I research other options. Can’t believe it’s taken this long to resolve. Very disappointed.

Concerned that a connection with one of the largest banks is still not working after over 3 months. Please prioritize!

My primary investments are at Merrill Lynch. I just signed up for Quicken Simplifi because I thought this would work as advertised and come to find out that there have been connection issues for months and months. What is the issue? Failing to update your connector cannot be a lack of engineering resources to prioritize a major financial institution. Therefore, do you need help with connecting to the right people inside of Bank of America CISO or some other office? MyMerrill site seems to imply they can allow 3rd party connections using OAuth.

At what point is Quicken going to actually address this issue? Merrill Lynch has not been updating since November 2024! It’s a new year and we are unable to access any of our data from last year. This is unacceptable. I know you “appreciate our patience” but it’s running out quickly.
