Re: Ability to Link multiple Transactions to a single Recurring Bill at one time (edited)
It amazes me that this is not a feature. It would be extremely helpful at setup to be able to search for a paycheck deposit, select all returned results, bulk assign category "paycheck" and link them to the recurring series for paycheck! 3 years worth of biweekly paychecks could be completed in 5 steps where individually would require 360 steps. Come on guys, how is this not already a feature?!
Re: Best Account Update Frequencies within Simplifi
@KP_9 Yes, most of my accounts require MFA but I have it on all of them.

Splurge: An unplanned short vacation with the car, where sadly the car "died, but got me home"
Savings Goals: Temporarily suspended, but I was using them to make sure i had the minimum balances required to avoid bank fees (so i don't spend into where i'm charged).

Re: "An error occurred." message/accounts not updating (edited)
Confirming @KP_9 - I am seeing the same problems on Mac Desktop (through Chrome) and also the iOS mobile app. I see the "Sorry, but we were unable to make your changes." after I click away from the the initial "an error occurred, please try again" message.

Re: Best Account Update Frequencies within Simplifi
My usual practice is to change the defaults only if there is some reason to do so.
Some financial institutions balk at frequent updates, or ask for multi-factor authentication when updating. In those cases there is good reason to make the updates less frequent. Particularly if the account is one — like some investment or loan accounts — where changes are infrequent.
But if you are currently having no problems, there is no need to change.

Re: Best Account Update Frequencies within Simplifi
Good point. Luckily I don't have any problem with MFA, but one never knows.
I changed by Fidelity accounts today to once per day mainly just to try it out. Fidelity doesn't usually do pending transactions, so I will see. Of course, there is manual update as a fall-back.

Re: Automatic Car Value Tracking
@Hammertime7 Understand that this is not an Intuit product. There is a cost involved with constant updates, and the cost would have to be passed along in the form of increased subscription costs. How badly do you want this feature?

Re: Best Account Update Frequencies within Simplifi
The only one I changed was my mortgage account; it requires a token MFA revalidation every time it refreshes, which was a bit of a hassle given that I usually am in Simplifi at least daily. Additionally, the balance is static all month until the day when my auto-payment applies and drops the balance, so it made sense to bump it out to refresh less frequently than the other account types.
I could also see a use case for bumping out refresh cycles on investment accounts for someone who's deliberately looking to smooth out market moves and not worry about daily fluctuations by checking those balances weekly/monthly, etc.
I prefer to have all my investment accounts refresh on the default, but I know other folks who intentionally don't check their retirement account balances too frequently to avoid making stress-driven portfolio decisions during high volatility times and letting their long-term strategies play out.
