If the goal is to simplify financial management, why not allow users to create custom account groups? For example, they could create a “Cash & Savings” group that combines both “Cash & Checking” and “Savings” accounts.

This recently changed. I added a split to my biweekly paychecks with a total net amount and the contribution. I want the income to list the full net value. And, it does for past paychecks.
