Re: Get rid of "Everything Else" and show all Categories on the Spending Report graph (edited)
Holy crap! I can't believe I paid money for this and have been entering data for over six months so I can analyze expenses, only to find this thing is junk and only shows a few categories. Sure, I should have checked, but why would I need to check for the presence of what should be the most totally obvious use of the tool? I used the PC version of quicken over 15 years ago and it did that. [removed - profanity]
Hey Quicken! If you don't want to take the time to figure out how to make it all pretty with all categories listed, just ALLOW AN EXPORT TO EXCEL !! So disappointed.
Re: Annual Spending Plan
"Sinking fund," "Savings Goal," Rollover" are basically the same, or at least can be used in the same way and yes this is a "request basically asking for a "Sinking Fund" bucket in the Spending Plan."
This request is to create a process to more fully integrate irregular non-monthly, semi-annual and annual recurring fixed and flexible expenses into the Spending Plan. Right now there are two means to accomplish this, Savings Goals and Planned Spending with rollover. See above for the pros and cons for both methods.
This request is to keep the conversation going with the goal that this aspect of pretty much everyone's money dance will be more eloquently addressed in QS.

Re: Data transfer from Quicken
i'm upgading decktop to window 11. how do I transfer my quicken account to new?
Re: Data transfer from Quicken
Look, a cloud-based option is, exactly as @Shermani says, clearly your path to the future. I would love to transition from Quicken Classic Business and Personal (with all my data) to Quicken Business and Personal, assuming it contains feature parity (which it appears to do). Please make the common sense solution to import data…it really can't be that hard. Thanks!
Re: Data transfer from Quicken
I've been using Q since the early 1990s - MS-DOS! - so have decades of stored data. I'm interested in transferring to Q B & P, but won't do that without the ability to import data from a Q file.
Re: What is the status 2/19/25: Date Picker Starting on Monday Instead of Sunday in Quicken Simplifi Web
this is not funny anymore, it was working fine, someone decided to break the standard. [removed]

Re: Spending Plan Redesign: Share your feedback here!
@DryHeat @DannyB slight twist here. I initially tried Savings goal for vacation since it was part of the spending plan. But that didn’t work out for me mostly from the lack of registers in savings. So I switched vacations to Planned spend and rollovers.
Re: Can I set a reminder for a credit card bill that is Due Date - x Business Days?
I like the idea of changing the due date. That will be my first step.
I will hold onto your other suggestions as well. Thanks!
