Re: Unable to change the category on a linked refund (edited)
Hello @cloudquick,
Thanks for the additional information. I will be sure to follow up here when our product team provides a status update on the escalated issue they are investigating. I would delete the new duplicate transaction in the meantime.

Re: Create a Rule with AND condition instead or OR
Hello @geekcred,
Thanks for reaching out! Transaction Rules can be used to have Quicken Simplifi automatically recognize your incoming transactions based on specific or broad keywords, and then rename those transactions appropriately. For example, you can input the keywords "wal" and "mart" for a Payee Rule to rename to "Walmart", and then "Groceries" as a Category Rule. Then, whenever a transaction containing those keywords comes in, Quicken Simplifi will automatically rename the Payee to "Walmart" and set the Category to "Groceries". This support article goes into more detail here:

Re: Understanding Transactions – Credit Card, Checking, and Money Market Savings
@CoachJon, thank you for the response. I think I might have the transaction payments from the checking and deposits from the savings down. IF not, I will be back for help. If so, the understanding current has been very rewarding, and I thank all who took the time to help in this learning and understanding.
Re: Morgan Stanley Checking Account Showing Up as a Brokerage
@root62 When you re-established the connection, did you change your MS account to a checking account first and then try to reconnect and link it? The reason I ask is @rdd said this could be a workaround. It would be nice to know whether this actually does still work. I haven't tried it as my (Fidelity Cash Management) is already connected as a checking account.
Also, I understand that they are looking into ways to accommodate these kinds of accounts so maybe this will get fixed in the future. Fingers crossed.

Re: Recurring Credit Card Payments: Add an "Interest Saving Balance" Amount Option (edited)
Thanks @Coach Natalie - not even sure if it's technically possible, but if it is, it would be a useful addition!
Re: Recurring Credit Card Payments: Add an "Interest Saving Balance" Amount Option (edited)
@cloudquick, thanks for posting your inquiry to the Community!
According to our Bill Connect article, the options presented are defined as follows:
- Statement Balance: Updates the reminder amount to the statement balance when the statement period closes.
- Minimum Due: Updates the reminder amount to the minimum due once the statement period closes.
- Total Balance: Updates the reminder amount to the total balance when the statement period closes.
- Don't Update: Uses the amount you set in the Basic Details tab.
With that, I have turned this into an Idea post requesting an "Interest Saving Balance" Amount option so other users can vote on it and our product team can review it. For more details on Idea posts in the Community, see our FAQ here.
I hope this helps!
