Incorrect bank balance/transaction sync completely screws up projected cash flow (edited)
Exactly the same issue as I raised back in in December, which was the same issue that I raised in September before that:
It had actually happened again a few months ago, but then seemed to fix itself. Now it's back.
When this happens, the projected balance is worse than useless, as it gives false information and I'm left to not only notice that something "isn't quite right" but then I have to go log into my bank account to see what transactions align with the balance that Simplifi is showing. The whole point of products like Simplifi is so I don't have to log into multiple accounts…
The balance projects was the key feature that had me choose Simplifi over others. As my 1 year date approaches I'm going to be forced to look for alternatives, not only because this feature doesn't seem to be working, but it seems that Simplifi seems technically unable to maintain this functionality, which is boggles as it's a simple math problem at the end of the day…
Is there any further guidance on why this issue keeps coming up? Please see my previous two issues that I reported on this as they have ALL the relevant details, it's very literally the exact same problem.
Re: Savings Goal Doesn't Update
Hello @brucelee1968,
I did check on your recent ticket with support again, and can see that it is still being investigated/worked on. They should reach out to you soon with an update or solution for this issue, so be sure to be on the lookout for when they do.

Re: Planned Spending "Last Six Months" Average is overinflated (edited)
"it still has me scratching my head as to what and why this could be happening."
Simplifi seems to have its own idiosyncratic idea of what constitutes the "last 6 months" — namely, that it includes the previous 5 months plus whatever days have passed in the month we are currently in.
This idiosyncrasy also shows up in Reports, where selecting the date range "Last 6 Months" today will get you February through June plus the first 10 days in July.
There have been requests to change the date selection in Reports, and maybe if they fix it there they will fix it here too.

Re: Target Circle Card won't download new transactions
This is super frustrating. Thanks to the community for putting some of the pieces of the puzzle together. At this point it seems that the Target transactions only download after the month end statement closes. This is not an acceptable solution. I wonder if it is time to consider https://www.monarchmoney.com/?
Re: Target Circle Card won't download new transactions
@Coach Kristina - I have bookmarked the alert link. However, I do not see any updates since 5/29.
Re: Persistent 324 error with Fidelity (edited)
I am experiencing more bugs than I would like…
Re: What is the correct accounting & category for sweep in after stock sale and dividends
It's not entirely clear to me - the fund is recorded as $1 per unit (see screenshot) suggesting a buy action but the account type is cash.
For now converting them to "buy" seems to have sorted it as now those transactions don't show up in my normal spending reports.
I also noted that the other transactions in my screenshot were missing the security/payee field so I added those.
