Re: Citi Shop Your Way Migration Broken
Guys.
I was able to make it work.
First, let's forget Simplifi for a minute.
Make sure you can log into your account on the NEW citi web site. The old Shop Your Way site does not work anymore. You must use the new site. Log on, make sure all is ok, your account is there etc. This is critical.
Then go into Simplifi.
(1) Make your OLD Shop your Way account a MANUAL account.
(2) Create a new connection, search for Citi Thank you Card. Use your username and password.
(3) When Simplifi asks you, DO NOT connect as a new account. Connect to the old account, the one you made manual just a few minutes ago.
(4) Rename your account to Citi Thank You Card.
Everything will work.
Unknown Account holding part of savings goal?
Hello,
I'm experiencing a strange error with one of my savings goals. As far as I can remember, I've contributed all amounts to this goal from the same checking account shown below, but now I also see that the goal is tracking $340 contributed from an unknown account. This is preventing me from properly withdrawing from the goal, since when I try to withdraw from the goal, the only option for "withdraw to" is my checking account, not the unknown account. This limits me to withdrawing up to $953 instead of up to $1,293, and leaves the unknown $340 unable to be withdrawn. Is there any way to fix this?
Re: Credit Score: Wrong detail on Derogatory marks
@RobWilk, thank you!
I have escalated this issue and will be sure to post back here with updates.

Re: Using splits (multiple categories) in Recurring Transactions (4 Merged Votes)
The basic idea of showing splits in Reminders has gotten tangled up with the more radical idea of treating splits as full transactions (with their own dates, notes, attachements, exclusions, whatever). I think all those ideas have been brought up in this thread at one point or another.
If they just include splits in Reminders they might be able to get it done in a reasonable time. But if they take an "all or nothing" approach my guess is that the necessary restructuring of the app's data structure would be significant. So we will likely end up with nothing.
I hope I am being too pessimistic about this.

Re: Principal - Impact 401K Not Working
Hello @aparys,
Thanks for the reply! As long as you are not deleting your existing account within Quicken Simplifi, you should be able to connect to the new instance without losing any data. You can establish a fresh connection by making the account manual and re-linking to the Principal Financial Group instance I shared above. The instructions to do that are:
- Make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here.
- Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
- If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.
@lsanchis, Thanks for reaching out! I would also have you try connecting to the Principal Financial Group instance I provided previously in this thread. Let us know how this goes!

Re: QBP: Add a 'Date' field to items on Invoices (edited)
I also HIGHLY request that the “service date” which is already entered for each invoice line to be printed for each line.
this is a MUST for the customer to be able to identify what work was done on what day.
Example: if the customer is visited 15 times during the month (with various hours per visit). The resulting invoice just has 15 identical lines (with varying times)…. The customer needs to know the date of each service to verify with their own records etc.
Another example would: take a busy bank or credit card statement (and remove the dates)…. How would you actually easily verify that the statement was correct?
PLEASE PLEASE add the “service date” to the invoice printout.
Thanks!!!!
Re: Using splits (multiple categories) in Recurring Transactions (4 Merged Votes)
It has been 6 years, if Simplifi/Quicken is interested in honest open communication, they really should give us an official update on this.
I suspect since it has been 6 years that the chances of this being implemented is approaching zero.
Re: Using splits (multiple categories) in Recurring Transactions (4 Merged Votes)
You make a good point. If Simplifi does not make the choice to catch up, they will be left behind. That said, within the last year I tried several competing products and while they all have their positives and negatives, I like the Quicken (Both Classic and Simplifi) infrastructure. If they could just implement a few things they likely would grow their customer base much more.
Re: Help linking a manual investment transaction as a transfer (edited)
Never mind, I was able to achieve what I wanted creating a new manual account of type "Banking".
Another unexpected behavior I have previously observed is that the balance of the previous manual investment account X appeared to be 0, even if in the page of the account, in the transactions tab, the positive transaction appeared.
