I don't know if you need for these occurrences to be reported, but…

ok, I think I’ve observed a pattern. I have my transactions for target show but only when they are pending, they then disappear once the transactions clear. I also, like others, see my transactions flood in as cleared and here’s the pattern - I think they are only showing back up as cleared once my bill finalizes for the month (I.e. the statement period ends). This has happened the last two months now.

No change.

1. No, as I said, there is another account on the same site with a different username and password that looks fine

The account was added successfully when I first setup Simplifi, it just will not update. The error that I see when I go to the details of the account now are:
