Re: Persistent 324 error with Fidelity (edited)
Yesterday (Friday 7/11) I made many attempts to connect my Fidelity account to Simplifi, then tried again a few times this morning. I found your post while searching for any known reasons why I couldn't connect. I tried the Finicity connection you mentioned and bingo, it worked and I am now connected.
I found this info on their website where they state they are making security changes to 3rd party apps, but I don't know if it's old news or not. https://www.fidelity.com/security/third-party-app-protection

Re: Transactions and Spending Plans
@Stevefxp "I am using a recurring bill for this payment."
If you are using a recurring bill, it will show up under the "Income after bills & saving" section, in the "Bills" subsection, rather than in the "Planned spending" section. If the bill recurs weekly you will see multiple bills there. The total of all the bills, not just the ones that are already paid, will be shown as spending for the current month.
(Or, if you are a new user who has the redesigned Spending Plan, bills will show up in the "Bills" section — which stands on its own and is no longer a subsection under the "Income" section.)
"Planned spending" is usually used for categories where you have a good idea of what you are going to spend (like groceries) but where there is no specific scheduled bill.

Re: Why do the date filters for Last 3 months and Last 6 months return values to date?
Look what I found today in the web app. Updated date filters options for reports!! THANK YOU Simplif for fixing!!😊
Re: Good and Bad after a month of using
@virshu Glad for you. Simplifi continues to astound. Sometimes the changes seem to come at a glacier's pace. And then something happens when least expected.

Re: Transactions in liability accounts not included in reports (edited)
Are your manual interest payments entered as part of a split transaction that also includes a transfer?
I ask because transfers are usually excluded from reports, and if the transaction is excluded then the split values will all be excluded.

Re: Ability to Exclude Criteria in Filters/Inverse Filter Criteria (edited)
Right now, selecting "Personal" (for example) includes all categories underneath it, but doesn't select them in the normal sense (by marking them with the blue checkbox). Instead, it greys them out so that their selected status cannot be changed.
Using this system, if I just want to exclude 3 categories I have to unselect "Personal" and then select all but 3 of the categories underneath it one-by-one.
Suggestion: It would work better if selecting "Personal" actually selected all the categories underneath it in the normal way (by marking them with the blue checkbox), rather than making them unchangeable. That way, you could just unselect the ones you don't want.

Re: Persistent 324 error with Fidelity (edited)
Hello @jto692 and @Bill Barol,
Thanks for the reply! To clarify for everyone, the balance shown for connected investment accounts in the Account List is provided by your financial institution and may vary based on when the account was last refreshed and when share prices are updated. In contrast, the balance in the Investments tab reflects the market value of your holdings using the most recent share price data.
I hope this clears up any confusion!
