Re: What is the status 2/19/25: Date Picker Starting on Monday Instead of Sunday in Quicken Simplifi Web
It is Sunday for some calendars in the app, but Monday on the date picker. For those of us who are visual, we see the grid rather than the headers and assume, for instance, that the middle of the calendar is Wednesday. I am selecting incorrect days as a result. If the app were to follow the default set on the computer, or provide the option for the user to set the date in Settings, that would remedy the situation.
Thank you.
Re: Ability to add Planned Spending Items to our Projected Cash Flow [edited] (4 Merged Votes)
@DannyB - Question on Point 3
I see bills and subscriptions coming out of my projected cash flow. It comes out of whatever account is linked to it on the date the bill is due.
For example I have a small account I use for a couple subscriptions mostly annual. Here I have my Apple One subscription coming out and it shows as projected cash flow depletion. This is true for Bills & Subs as I have my Water Bill showing the same way in another account. So I think the non-monthly expenses would show properly in the "month" the cash is disbursed. I set up an annual bill it will put the cash in the month the annual bill is scheduled.
I think then the idea of "setting aside" money is more important since you don't have negative cash flow you just have reserved balance. Therefore if the "Rollover feature being discussed" helps then the following may not be important but right now I think Savings Goals are "Cash Reserves" and thus should not be negative cash flow but an earmark on the existing cash that you will need it in the future. The Annual bill would let you see when the cash is truly leaving the bank.
I wish we could link the Annual bill to a savings goal as a sort of "Virtual Account" so it would balance the spending plan that month.
Also, I think the term "Savings Goal" can throw people off of the power of their functionality. I did a different post that if we could have them as multiple types. Like "Savings Goals" and "Non-Recurring Planned" that would help delineate between aspirational and required but still set money aside in the account on the "Accounts" panel on the left hand side of simplify that you see on the "Dashboard" and "Transactions" screens.
On another note:
I roll 90% of my spending through a credit card so I would actually want to tie my planned spending to a credit card and have it project cash outflow on the day the payment comes every month. I would prefer I can link the bill to a credit card and setup a payment date that all the bills will be paid on but I use a recurring bill called CC Repayment for Soending Plan that is a Transfer from CC to Main Checking. (I have not found the way yet!)
I would like to be able to see a way to project the depletion of a spending goal but would prefer to have the "Rollover" functionality completed first to see how that is implemented to know how that impacts spending goals. Then figure out that since essentially contributing to a savings goal "sets aside" the funds in the account so you don't go sub-zero if you contribute on time.
Re: New Member - Greetings :)
In addition to what @SRC54 mentions, here are couple of more ways to handle your non-monthly bulk buying expense:
- Create a Planned Spending Category for this expense and set it up as a rollover expense. You will need a unique category for these expenses to assign to this Planned Spending category. You can set the monthly amount for this Planned Spending account for some portion of the expected expense equal to what you typically spend on for these bulk purchases. (Using Rollover in Planned Spending | Quicken Simplifi Help Center and Understanding Your Spending Plan | Quicken Simplifi Help Center )
- You can set up a Savings Goal for your Bulk Shopping expenses. I'd try the Planned Spending with rollover and maybe even Steve's suggestion before using this method.
Either of these methods (Planned Spending expense with rollover and Saving Goal) will make sure you are setting aside funds monthly to cover these non-monthly bulk purchasing trips and make them available when needed. The Recurring expense method will only deduct the expense in the month it is incurred.

Re: "No Data Available" in the Net Worth report for Mobile (edited)
OK. Not sure why it isn't working for me when the report opens, but not a big deal as overall the fix works and it is not difficult to select the desired Date range again to get the data to display.
I tried several different ways to capture a screen shot and was unable to do so on my Pixel 7 phone.
Thanks for the quick response in releasing version 5.35.2 with a fix for the report. I can live with the minor inconvenience that I'm having.
Re: Osaic and Equipt
Hello @Chilly,
This post is a financial institution request. This means users may vote for and follow this post if they wish to have this bank added to Quicken Simplifi. That does not necessarily mean that the bank will be added, but we will be sure to update this post if we receive more information on the status or if it will be added in the future.
I hope this makes sense.

Re: T. Rowe Price Retirement Plans - FDP-102 Error
I agree with @CJM. After a month of nothing being done to correct the problem, the "we know the problem exists, and we're doing what we can" just doesn't hold any weight. I'm sure the moderators / admin on this site want it fixed as much as we do, but I wonder at what point they have lost any credibility in responding by just saying it's still broken. If it can't be fixed in over a month (and this is true with now with TIAA and T Rowe Price for me as well), then more information and transparency is needed. These are not minor institutions/banks, and neither is Quicken, so it makes me wonder if anyone is really working towards solutions. If that level of brain power can't fix it, makes you wonder. It's really ruining an otherwise functional and good financial app.
Re: T. Rowe Price Retirement Plans - FDP-102 Error
Natalie. Being aware of it and fixing it are 2 different things. Especially since you are still charging full cost. When cable or cell services are down , we receive a credit. I recommend every cancel their subscription just based on the terrible customer service.
Re: T. Rowe Price Retirement Plans - FDP-102 Error
Would be helpful to share what actions have been taken to date to troubleshoot and what is the next action and target date. You could also start to proactively communicate. If there is a blocker that is taking you time to develop a solution for the best thing you can do is provide transparency and let everyone know you will provide an update based on the estimated time to resolve.
Re: Correct Setting for an Account that downloads Balance that already includes pending transactions
Thanks again @Coach Jon. I think this whole thing needs rethinking, but in the meantime, I'll continue to use my workarounds to avoid Simplifi's faulty AI and make my data match reality. In other words, if my bank counts one of my pending as cleared, I'll just clear it!
