Re: Issue connecting two logins with Vanguard (edited)
Hello @Jeff C,
I am back with an update from our product team on this issue. They would like to schedule a debugging session to perform more advanced troubleshooting for this issue. We will need the following information:
- Confirm that the email address and phone number listed on your Quicken Simplifi Account are your best contact info.
- Provide your general availability over the next few weeks, and please also include your time zone with this.
I look forward to hearing back from you!

Re: Tax Planner for Quicken Business & Personal: Share your feedback here!
I'm not sure estimating the taxes separately will give you the information you want.
If you estimate the tax for each business separately, you will end up underestimating the total tax burden. Because of the way the graduated income tax works, a taxpayer pays a lower tax rate on the first X dollars earned, then a higher rate on later dollars.
Treating the businesses separately gives both of them that "first X dollars" break, and that's not how it works. You are the taxpayer here. So, the earnings from Business B will get stacked on top of the earnings from Business A, making up your individual total income. This results in higher taxes than if each were taxed separately.

Coinbase recently launched their credit card product through their partnership with Amex. Are there plans to sync credit card transactions? Currently credit card account not showing up in list of accounts when trying to connect coinbase.
Re: Morgan Stanley Line of Credit Always Shows Zero Balance
Hello @Coach Jon
it is working now. Balances are visible. Thank you!
Re: new biller connect system not working
I only have two billers I use Bill Connect with - my water service and my natural gas provider. The water service is connected and works fine. I get this far with my natural gas provider and no further. I've tried connecting a few times and ended with this same message screen. We produce our own electric power with enough surplus to cover our electricity provider's service fees.
Virtually all other recurring bills are for static amounts due on the same day every month and the built in reminders are more than adequate to cover these for Spending Plan and forecasting purposes.

Re: Imprint - new credit card servicing Crate and Barrel (edited)
Okay, here's the deal. Listen closely. Imprint is not a bank or traditional credit card institution; it is a fintech platform with a whole new approach to co-branded retail store cards. They do not use a username and password to log in like banks do. One logs in using their phone number, followed by a verification code, followed by a custom PIN set up when you apply. This is the issue. The old C&B connection was for a traditional bank login. C&B has discontinued this card and replaced it with the Imprint card. The current Quicken setup will not ever work with an Imprint co-branded card unless Imprint changes to usernames and passwords for account access. Please ditch the old one from Simplifi that is causing confusion.
For now, the only option seems to be to set an Imprint account up manually, which is not ideal for a credit card. So it would be great if Simplifi would somehow implement compatibility with this new form of account login for credit cards. You can see more here: https://imprint.co/
Thanks for listening. I hope you can implement this without too much trouble.
Re: Not all fidelity accounts are able to be connected
Must have been the 90 days of activity works now. Apparently account opening doesn't count for account activity.
Thanks
Re: QBP: Ability to invoice expenses without needing a transaction (edited)
@PGLConsultant, thank you for posting your suggestion to the Community!
I went ahead and moved this out of Feature Requests for now, as you can create any billable expenses you need by using the Add Item feature. This feature doesn't require a transaction to make it a billable expense, and should have all the flexibility you need. Here is an example of how this looks in Quicken Business & Personal:
Let us know if this works for you! If it does not, please provide some insight on how your idea differs from what Quicken Business & Personal currently offers.
Re: How to get loan payment transactions in both checking and loan accounts?
To get the payment to show up in both the checking and loan account, create (or edit) the payment in the checking account and set the Category to the transfer category that corresponds to your loan account. (It will be a subcategy under Transfer with the name of the loan account).
If you want the loan amount to be accurate, you will have to split the checking account transaction so that the proper amount goes to an interest Expense category and the rest goes to the loan account.
If you loan account is connected and automatically downloads transactions, you will have to link the checking account transactions to those downloaded loan transactions. (Which may happen automatically if the amounts match).
