Re: New User
Regarding annual expenses … there are various suggestions for this, mainly using Planned Spend rollovers vs. Savings Goals.
I've linked one below on using Savings Goals. If you search for "annual" or "quarterly" you'll probably find a discussion on using rollovers.

Re: Ability to hide Net Worth
I have been told by an employee that they are working on an easily toggled privacy mode, which might hide dollar amounts, including net worth.

Re: MidwestOne Bank Pending Transactions - Counted as the opposite type in "Bank Balance"
Hello,
I do have a "Line of Credit" account with the same institution, but I do not use that enough to know if it has the same issue or not.
I also have Chase and Citi accounts connected to Simplifi, and they both accurately reflect the balance when using "Balance with Pending". Only this MidwestOne checking account applies the opposite of the desired value to the balance.
I have noticed this behavior on both the mobile and web apps.
Re: Mobile App: Projected Cash Flow projections should be grouped by day (edited)
I am supportive of a solution that prevents “false” negative balances as that can raise unnecessary alarm. Another option I have seen is to have transactions sort so income/deposits are listed before expenses/withdrawals. This could even be a user setting where user can determine posting order since this may not be a one size fits all need.
Re: Price increase on subscription
Hi. Yes, the fees have increased a good bit for both Quicken Classic and Quicken Simplifi. This community is for Simplifi so you may want to repost this in the Quicken Classic community. 😀

Re: Nested categories in Simplifi don't show up correctly in [planned spend]
But if I use one of the second-level subcategories (i.e. Vet or Grooming) then the expenses no longer show up in planned spend and instead are listed under other spend.
That is strange. I just tested this by creating a second-level subcategory (Dining Out | Coffee Shops | Ground Coffee) and assigning that category to a transaction that was previously in Groceries. The "Ground Coffee" transaction is showing up as expected in the transaction list for the "Dining Out" Planned Spend expense series.
To test this, I would first check the category definitions to ensure that Pets is a sub of Sinking Fund and Vet is a sub of Pets. Then check that there is an existing Vet transaction dated in the month you are looking at. If those things are all in place, and you still aren't seeing the transaction in Planned Spend, then there must be some kind of data corruption.
(Note: It is possible to have similarly named categories in different locations on the category tree.)

Re: Investments Performance tab not displaying correctly.
Hello @jgo,
I reached out to my team to clarify specifically how this information is calculated. Once I hear back, I will be sure to let you know here. I gave the information you presented here as an example, so we should receive a good answer to your inquiry.
Thanks for your patience.

Re: Investments Performance tab not displaying correctly.
I agree that the TWR graph makes no sense for me either. It says that it does not take into account cash in or cash out, but in fact, it does show exactly that. I took a significant amount of money out of one account and it shows a massive drop in "performance". The investment screens need a lot of work.
