Re: Review Marker Switched on After Editing a Transaction
@Dick_Davis, thanks for posting to the Community!
When editing a transaction, Quicken Simplifi will mark it as reviewed. I believe this is due to what @DryHeat mentioned — "I believe Simplifi treats the act of editing a transaction as evidence that it has been reviewed."
If you'd like to see this changed, please be sure to add your vote and feedback to our existing Idea post!

Re: Help managing an annual recurring bill...
@SRC54 thanks, that makes sense, and seems to have worked.
This still seems like a bug though, shouldn't it be reported as such?
Thanks again for your help!
Re: Credit Card Payments in Checking Account
Evening SRC54,
Now I understand from your response that Simplifi does not up the balance as Quicken Classic does. With Simplifi, the balance for the accounts are downloaded. This the balance. I am with the presumption that this works for all the connected accounts the same way.
Re: Review Marker Switched on After Editing a Transaction
I believe Simplifi treats the act of editing a transaction as evidence that it has been reviewed.

Re: Understanding Transactions – Credit Card, Checking, and Money Market Savings
@Dick_Davis "With regards to link transactions for the credit card, I don't get the link message"
What @SRC54 was saying is that the two credit card payment transactions you show in your screenshot are not linked. You have two entirely separate transactions, each with the Category "Credit Card Payment."
If the transactions were linked the checking transaction would have Category = "TJX Rewards MasterCard" and the credit card transaction would have Category = "Checking (Resty) [396-00170]."
When you choose the Category for a transaction, hovering over the "Transfer" main category will show a list of sub-categories, one for each of your accounts. Choosing an account as the Category is what creates the linked transaction.
(If the two transactions are downloaded, one in each account, Simplifi will attempt to link them by setting the Categories in this way.)

Freedom Mortgage (Freedom Wholesale Mortgage) 103 error (edited)
The institution of Freedom Mortgage (freedommortgage.com) is found in the list of institutions for Add Account. It is displayed and can be selected. When selected, the “Quicken Simplifi uses Finicity, a Mastercard company, to link your accounts” is displayed with the option of “Next” to continue. The Freedom Mortgage Wholesale Division logo is displayed with the option to enter the Email Address and Password. Once these are entered, then the option to “submit” is displayed. Then the status will be “Validating identity…” and “Still working…” will be shown. After a few minutes, the error message screen appears and the ability to link the account is terminated. When searching for Freedom Mortgage, the searches and screens are not consistently working. Please test the various issues with this.
So, until this is resolved, then the only work around is to enter the account manually as well as treat all the transactions downloaded and associate with the account in a manual manner.
Re: Target Circle Card won't download new transactions
This issue has been going on for couple of months and there seems to be zero movement on this. Its not like this an issue with a small community bank, this is Target. Support has just been so lackluster. I'm going to trial [removed] and see if they have the same on going issues. Won't be renewing my annual subscription.
Re: PHH Mortgage $0 Loan Balance (edited)
Thanks @Coach Jon ! Since you're done supplying all my info, screenshots, and attachments to Simplifi's product team, I'm going to remove attachments/edit my post above at 2:30PM to make it more anonymous. Thanks again!

Re: Simplifi account access from foreign countries (yes or no?)
@OregonNomad , thanks for reaching out with your inquiry!
I went ahead and moved this out of Feature Requests since it is a question versus a request. To answer your question, Quicken Simplifi only supports U.S. and Canadian banks and currency. Although you still may be able to use the app outside of the U.S. and Canada, or while using a VPN, if either of these scenarios prevents us from confirming your identity, it may restrict your access until you return to the country or have a local IP address. This is for security reasons and is not something that would be considered a feature.
This information can be found in our support article here:
I hope this helps clear things up!
