Re: Refund Reminder Card Displays on All Accounts
It is maddening. Trying to use the Refund Tracking feature is like getting cursed.

Re: 'Recent X Months' Date Range Filters in Reports should not include the current month (edited)
I just checked and it doesn't. I was probably thinking about Spending Plan.
I still think though that perhaps the past 6 months should show 6 full months, so for example on July 15, show me transactions from Jan 15 - July 15. Especially if it's towards the beginning of the month and you want to get an idea of what spending you do in a specific category/ies over 6 months, to show the past 5 months plus a day or a few is misleading.
Re: 'Recent X Months' Date Range Filters in Reports should not include the current month (edited)
One other argument against the "monthly" reports… Months can be 28, 29 (feb leap years), 30, or 31 days - that's about 10% potential difference in number of days - so when it's by month , it's never "apples to apples".
I get it that you don't like this idea ... But that's a bit of a stretch. Many expenses are monthly, not daily. And all the months but one have either 30 or 31 days.
There's a good reason why Simplifi has "Month" as one of the reporting intervals (and provides a Monthly Summary, and has a Monthly Spending Plan). And why all bookkeeping software provides monthly reports.

Re: 'Recent X Months' Date Range Filters in Reports should not include the current month (edited)
To clarify: Is this idea post to "Exclude" the current month, or have 5 solid months with 1-2 partial months? If the latter, i might change my vote.
The idea is to exclude the current month and, for example, to show the previous 6 whole months.
The "Jan-15 to Jul-15" idea is a different suggestion. It would cover 6 months, but I'm not sure what column breakdown is being suggested. Would there be 7 columns (5 full months and 2 half months)? Or would each column cover from one mid-month to the next mid-month?
Personally, I think in months (like the Spending Plan). So for me that would be less useful.

Re: Is QS supposed to automatically enter a recurring transaction/transfer as a pending transaction?
This turned out to be a "hardly worth anybody's time" kind of thing. I just needed someone to jog my grey matter into doing what is often the best thing to do when working with the digital world… REBOOT. In this case the issue, as minor as it was, was remedied quite nicely by ending the problematic series and starting fresh which I should have thought of before bringing it up here, but a little bit of dialogue with the pros, like you, Coach Natalie and DryHeat, did the trick.
As for putting out new versions, that's pretty much been the practice since I've been using QS… every Thursday I expect to see an update to a new version and the following Monday or Tuesday an update in this forum by Coach Natalie about what the new update brings to the table, fixes, tweaks, new features. See this page for the history of updates all the way back to version 1.0.3 in December 2019… it's been pretty much weekly from the start:

Re: Is QS supposed to automatically enter a recurring transaction/transfer as a pending transaction?
Re: "forever remain a mystery"… that's a good point i rarely consider…. It would be virtually impossible to know 'when' the recurring series was corrupted, becauase I believe Quicken puts out a new version almost weekly now (it feels that way anyhow) - and any one of those intermittent versions could have caused the corruption, and it may or may not be fixed already. That's probably why the suggestions often are like this one, to recreate the series.

I'm glad you got it fixed. It will forever remain a mystery.
As for the future Other Spend page… Yes, mine always looks exactly like that.

Re: Simplifi Needs Better Support for Real-World Budgeting & Cash Flow Forecasting
I agree about Reports, and they are getting better. But we do need saved reports, and this request is under review. We've been given to understand that enhancements are coming.
So tell us how your SoFi account works. It sounds like that as needed, money is moved from savings account to checking account. I know PNC Bank has something like that, which I had considered especially since it is actually here in town. Internet Banks are great but it is nice to be able to go to the branch if one needs to!
Luckily I get a very high interest rate in my Checking account with my local state bank (up to $30K), and though not quite as good st the 4.5% of a HYSA (I think it is 3.83), it has served my purpose. and it is here in town.
