Re: Chase pending transactions - delay in being counted toward balance (edited)
Try changing the date back to 12/30 to see if they will count now. Then change them back later.
I have discovered on occasion that Simplifi is confused early in the morning as to what the date is. This is something vague and I haven't checked it out much. I sense that it is Simplifi's problem and not the bank's.
And I think it will resolve itself in a few hours as you say.

Re: Chase pending transactions - delay in being counted toward balance (edited)
@RobWilk this seems to be a different thing since it's not transactions happening outside business hours, it's just on simplifi's end when reminders (but only the future transaction type) are changed to pending transactions once they hit their original date. It seems that simplifi needs to recalculate the total pending transactions at this time, and it's not doing that.
@SRC54 I changed them now to 12/30 and that fixed it, and then back to 12/31 and it stayed fixed. (I don't know if it would have done the same last night but I suspect yes).
Re: Tired of broken online banking connections
Of course, I also have to keep in mind the problem of per s pective. From my perspective it's one or two connection problems that are of importance to me. From the QS side it's hundreds or even thousands of connection problems that are being tracked. From a given bank, or financial institution's side this may not be a priority at all, or a low priority perhaps.

Re: Tired of broken online banking connections
The thing is, when Quicken says a bank connection is being worked on, it's usually not Quicken (the company) that is working on the connection - - they are told the connection is being worked on by a trusted third party (could be Intuit, Plaid, Fincity, etc) and Quicken simply reports that they reported the issue to them and they said they were working on it. Quicken is more of the software, connectivity to banks is a whole different area of expertise (and a full time job in itself). Quicken may make it sound like they are working on the connection, but it's not usually being worked on by them.

Re: Tired of broken online banking connections
I agree and wish they would let us know that they're waiting for an aggregator or someone external to resolve an issue.
Re: Ability to link or tie Savings Goals contributions/withdraws to transactions (edited)
I wanted to add my support for this request — linking transactions directly to savings goals is a basic feature that would make Simplifi much more useful for real-life budgeting. Right now, contributions and withdrawals don’t reflect cumulatively, so it’s hard to see the actual progress toward a goal, especially for large or irregular expenses like weddings, travel, or family care.
Allowing automatic updates of contributions, spending, and remaining target when transactions are linked would remove the need for manual calculations and make goal tracking accurate and intuitive. This seems like a feature many users, including myself, would rely on regularly.
Re: When DFAS deposit comes in early how do you add in Simplifi and not change my January spending plan
I see! I guess it depends on how your bank handles pending transactions.
