Help to choose the right program
I have used Quicken Deluxe 2014 for a long time. I need to upgrade my computer and therefore my programs. Which Quicken product is the most similar and compatible to what I have? I just use the basics - record keeping and tax preparation.
Re: Releasing planned spend doesn't change the total in the Spending Plan (edited)
I've had some weirdness today with my Spending Plan as well. I was able to work around it using 4.71.0. July Planned Categories got reset to 0.00. I'll keep an eye on it. Glad you got it resolved. @johnnydr4

New Feature Alert: Print or Export Reports!
We’re excited to roll out a new enhancement for Early Access QBP and Basic users on the Web App — you can now print or export some of your Reports!
What’s New?
You now have the ability to print or export the following Reports in Quicken Simplifi/Quicken Business & Personal:
- Profit & Loss
- Balance Sheet
- Income & Expense
- Taxes
Just open any of these reports and click the new three-dot menu in the upper-right corner. From there, you can:
- Print the report (with preview, page selection, and other customization options)
- Export to CSV, Excel, or PDF
Whether you’re organizing your finances, sharing with your accountant, or keeping hard copies for your records, this update makes it easier than ever.
Let us know what you think of this enhancement by clicking the link below!
Re: Public API (edited)
+1 - would be much more useful and justify continued subscription fee.
Re: Public API (edited)
+1 — my use cases:
- updating cost basis on fidelity accounts
- updating manual accounts used for loans
- updating crypto holding values since that has been broken for a while
Re: Income & Expense Report: Share your feedback here!
The Income and Expense Report is laid out very nicely, is easy to read and really easy to work with. Hopefully, these report standards will be in all the various current and forth coming reports. Very Nice Simplifi Developers and Program Manager(s). Very nice.
Re: TIAA Reporting Connection Issues
Once it finally does connect, though, will it then be permanently connected? Or is it something where it will still only work half the time even after a successful connection? I'd like to know how to get reimbursed for all the months that this has not been working for us. Most our our worth is in the TIAA accounts! Specifically who can I contact so that it's a smooth reimbursement for the lost months of service? I'm willing to stay on if 1. I can get reimbursed for all this hassle and lost time; 2. If I can get TIAA connected again to work as it should. Please LMK.
Re: Is there way to save retirement planning information? (edited)
Thank you. I'll play with some more.
Re: Releasing planned spend doesn't change the total in the Spending Plan (edited)
Took a while to update.. seems fine now.
Thanks
Re: Releasing planned spend doesn't change the total in the Spending Plan (edited)
So you have your Spending Plan for August set up and it shows you as having a deficit (a negative amount) leftover?
You are going ahead and releasing some of your planned spending now rather than wait until the end of the month?
Anyhow, yes, this should lower your Planned Spending and decrease your deficit (or give a surplus) for the month.
If your Planned Spending doesn't decrease, then it is likely a problem with the app updating. Try refreshing the app or signing out and back in to see if it will update.
Are you using the web app or the phone app? Does it do the same on both?
