Saw the Left Per Day feature is back on the dashboard. thank you!!
Re: Have recurring transactions show up in planned spending (edited)
I just learned that the recurring transactions do not show up in Planned Spending if they are captured in Bills. How could Bills not part of planned spending? I want to see everything in planned spending that I intend to spend this month. Particularly now that rollover is supported (in early access mode - enable it in Settings), I want to distribute my annual expenses (like property taxes) and 6-monthly expenses (such as car insurance) into monthly expenses and rollover every month until it is time to actually pay the amount. This way I get the real view of avg monthly expense all the time, instead of a surprise expense once a year.
The only purpose Bills should serve is a reminder that this bill is coming up and that the bills hasn't been paid and is overdue. They are two independent things. Not sure why an expense has to be exclusively put in one bucket (Bills) or the other (planned spending).
I think Simplifi should seperate them out and let the user track the expense independently between Bills and Planned Spending, allowing one transaction to show up in both.
Re: Add Notes and Credit Limits/Usage Percentage to Accounts [edited] (4 Merged Votes)
I absolutely agree. Without the feature, here's a workaround I came up with:
I incorporated the credit limit into the name of each of my credit cards. Example: "BofA VISA KB 1234 (4.9)" which includes the name of the credit card company, type, my initials (for cards issued to my wife I use her initials), last 4 digits, and credit limit, in this case $4,900 or 4.9 thousand. This way at a glance I can see the credit limit, both when looking at the side panel showing all my credit cards, as well as when looking at a particular card's activity, in which case the name of the account (including credit limit) is at the top of the screen.

Re: Incorrect Investment Calculations
Fidelity is super slow in that regard. If I look at my MMA accounts in the Fidelity app it's usually 2 or 3 days for it to become accurate there. Simplifi only downloads what Fidelity tells it to and this makes the dollar amounts in Simplifi grossly inaccurate until Fidelity catches up with itself.
Re: Issue connecting two logins with Vanguard (edited)
Why are these comments about lack of customer service being deleted? I saw them in my email, and they are hardly "disruptive"
Re: Issue connecting two logins with Vanguard (edited)
The message from Coach Natalie above looks like a template response.
I just hope they remember we are paying customers and that long-lasting bugs in production are unacceptable.
Re: Issue connecting two logins with Vanguard (edited)
Not to be disruptive by Quicken guidelines, but there is a message from May 13th by Coach Jon about the matter being investigated. Do you really want us to believe that 3 months later the engineers still do not understand the root cause? That is neither truthful not helpful for the customers. If this is an issue that Quicken does not care to fix, just let us know.
