Re: Add a reconcile feature [edited] (1 Merged Vote)
I also thumbs this up. I just started using Simplifi and it does work. But as others comments are mentioned, I pay bills that are outside of the range of this apps ability to correctly find the 'matching' dollar amount. So for that, let me at least reconcile the transaction because the bank has already taken the money, so I need simplifi to show that as well. I still have something from a week ago that hasn't cleared, but the bank has cleared it 2 days later. So, this is something that I feel (like others) are an important feature to add.
Re: Please add Earnest Loans
+1 echoing that Mint was linked with Earnest. My student loans are a key part of my budget plan and I will need to seek another service if this link is not added soon. Thanks.
Re: Please add Earnest Loans
+1
I spoke with Earnest and here is their reply:
"I received information that we are set up for third-party applications to integrate with us. Quicken systems would need to integrate with ours. From Earnest's end, there are no action items unless Quicken reaches out to request documentation or assistance with integration. We have received no such communication from Quicken."
Why is this taking so long to implement?
Re: Need a 'Select All' and 'Date Range' Filter (edited)
In Early Access now, and soon available to all users, we have added a date picker filter to the transactions list!

I’ve also had the negative balance issue since the morning of 5/22 for both Apple Cash and Apple savings
Re: How can I match transaction rules using partial words?
I think I was wrong about how the Rules' matching system works. In two different ways.
First, I don't think the system pays any attention to a Payee name that I have manually edited. It will only work based on either the Statement name or the originally assigned Quicken name.
Second, I don't think it will match when a keyword in the Rule is only part of a word in the name. For example:
— Take a transaction with Statement name = "US_233_TUCSON". Simplifi sees this as three words (ua 233 tucson) because it breaks words on an underscore. So I can match this with a keyword of "233".
— But take a transaction with Statement name = "DUTCH BROS AZ0904 TUCSON". Simplifi sees this as four words (dutch bros az0904 tucson) because it breaks words on a space. So I can match this with a keyword of "az0904" but not with a keyword of "0904".
In short, I thought the Contains operator would match a substring inside a word … but it doesn't.
Takeaway: You might be able to figure out how to handle this by experimenting with creating a rule directly from one of the transactions you want to match.
Look at the keywords that are suggested by the system for that transaction when you first open up the Create Rule page. Those may be the only keywords that will work for that kind of transaction. Using those may or may not be sufficient for your needs.

NetX Exchange (NETXInvestor.com) stopped working/missing accounts (edited)
In the last week or so the connection to my NETXInvestor accounts has stopped working. It says the accounts are no longer there and the only option I have is to link an account that has been closed for over 2 years. Hoping this can be a quick fix.
Re: Golden 1 Credit Union - Connection Error (FDP-105)
Super frustrating! For folks in the Sacramento area, a workable credit union alternative is Safe Credit Union. I'm moving our accounts over there next month.
