Re: Ability to Exclude Criteria in Filters/Inverse Filter Criteria (edited)
+1 On this feature request!
The reporting features on Simplifi are excellent. This is a small gap, but would be very nice to have it addressed!
A bigger build might include a dedicated exclusions link that opens a page where the user chooses or adds the exclusions.
But as has been suggested, simple fix for CATEGORIES and TAGS would be to have the default state be “all checked” so that one could manually uncheck the item(s) to exclude. This would need a small “check all” to go with the current “clear” at the top so the user could easily toggle when they want to include all or just a few items.
Again love the reports. Allowing exclusions seems important for the many varied use cases already listed in many of the earlier posts. Keep up the great work!
Re: The Community Meetup - October 2025 Edition
TBH, "Returngust" and "Returnember" were probably my biggest return months this year (August and September), for complicated reasons. In my case, at least 2 of these returns (maybe more) went to closed credit card(s), which was(/were) no longer linked in Quicken Simplifi (so the returns came by paper check via "Credit Balance Refunds"). Still, had I thought enough to use Quicken Simplifi's Return tracker, it might've detected the returns when I deposited the checks.
EDIT: up until now, i wasn't subscribed to this topic, but I am now.

Re: Checking Exclude from Reports does not save when changing Transfer category
Hello @segmented-reality,
Quicken Simplifi Web Version 4.78.0 has now been released, and the issue should now be fixed! If the issue persists after you update, be sure to let us know.

Re: Problem connecting to AAA Dollars MasterCard account (FDP-102)
After my last response I tried again this morning and now it worked. I will let you know if I continue to have problems with it, but thanks for your quick response to my inquiry here. I am a lomgtime Quicken user (since 1980’s DOS version). I really like that I can use Quicken on my ipad now. Keep up the good work!
Re: The Community Meetup - October 2025 Edition
I hate to admit it but we basically give cash for Christmas these days to the nephews and my friends' kids we have sort of adopted. So not so many returns. 😀
But I do often return things I am unhappy with to Amazon because they make it so easy. I reorder from them though. I returned a pair of jeans (I got relaxed fit) and they hung on me. So I reordered regular fit and they were perfect. About the first time in my life I didn't have to get husky! (Relaxed fit sounds so much better, don't you think?)
I ordered a Spanish language Bible in large print, but I still needed glasses so returned and got an Extra Grande print. It's perfect but weighs a ton. Then I had to order a protective case for it as it was a BIG investment. LOL

Re: Trick or Treat for Your Wallet
Trick:
I had a main water line break in August that I had to pay to fix (got bill in September), so that was unplanned.
Treat:
But my wife got a reimbursement from her education service organization that unexpectedly paid off her expenses for the year! It was actually more of a split of excess funds! So that made September look much better than it would have been.

457b Retirement Accounts
How are Simplifi users setting up and keeping 457b retirement accounts updated? I did not see many posts regarding this type of account in the community posts.

Re: Using "Reset report" does not stick (edited)
Looks like v4.78.0 fixed the problem on my reports too. Good news!

Re: Report of Current Monthly Spending Compared to Average Over Time (edited)
Would be great to be able to "true up" my spending plan by easily seeing average spend over an adjustable period (3 / 6 / 12 months?) along with a total or min/max. Then I could go down the category list and update budgets, possibly switch to/from rollover if spend is spotty, etc.
