Re: Why do the date filters for Last 3 months and Last 6 months return values to date?
I see this more as a bug report that should be reported to the development team. (Although I admit that, for me, it's not always easy to draw a bright line between a bug report and a feature request.)
I think that primarily because the various date selection shortcuts work differently in unexpected ways. Not only do some shortcuts exclude the present period while others include it, but also shortcuts whose names indicate they include 3 or 6 months data will, on average, include 2.5 or 5.5 months data.
I think that when @Coach Natalie suggested a feature request, it was based on her understanding that @Super D wanted reports to include future transactions — a marked departure from the way Simplifi works. But what @Super D is really requesting seems more like the correction of an error.

Re: Ability to Archive Tags
I think a way to mark a tag as inactive would be helpful since there are short-term use cases for some tags (like a vacation or a home project). To me inactive would mean that it’s not available to add to transactions which would allow shorter pick lists and possibly eliminate entry errors. I would want the ability to change the status back to active in case I wanted to use it again for a similar use, rename it, or simply to correct an error found in the future. Marking them inactive would not remove from reporting or transaction filters, etc.
Re: Ability to Add Apple Wallet Accounts from Other iPhones (edited)
I track both my and my husband’s Apple Cash accounts and have to have his set as a manual account currently.
Re: Transactions in liability accounts not included in reports (edited)
Thanks @Coach Jon! I switched all of my accounts to Other Liability in the meantime as a workaround. Keep me updated so I know when I can switch them back, please!
Re: Transactions in liability accounts not included in reports (edited)
I created a Consumer Loan and did a few test transactions that fit with what you are seeing.
(1) As I expected, transfers to and from the loan account did not show up as income or expense. That part seems correct as such transfers are simply the movement of assets, not income or expense.
(2) But income and expense transactions entered directly in the consumer loan account (without reference to any other account) did not act as expected. As I would expect, a "Groceries" transaction increased the (negative) amount of the loan and an "Other Income" transaction decreased it. But those transactions do not show up in the income or expense type reports as I thought they would.
This result is anomalous, because similar transactions entered directly in a credit card account (which is simply a different kind of loan) do show up in income and expense reports. It doesn't make sense to me that buying groceries with a credit card is considered an expense but buying groceries using a different kind of loan is not.

Re: Why do the date filters for Last 3 months and Last 6 months return values to date?
I don't think @Super D is suggesting that reports should include future dates.
I think he is pointing out that date ranges "Last Month" and "Last 3 Months" behave inconsistently.
For example, it is now July 3. Selecting the range "Last Month" returns dates that include all of June (and none of July). Selecting "Last Year" returns dates that include all of 2024 (and none of 2025). This is as expected.
Given how those work, one would expect that "Last 3 Months" would return dates that include all of April, May, and June (and none of July). But that's not what happens. Instead, it returns dates that include all of May and June, plus the first 3 days of July — a period of 2 months and 3 days. "Last 6 Months" works the same way.
So, I think @Super D is suggesting that these date selection shortcuts be fixed so that they actually return 3 and 6 months, respectively.

Savings Goal Doesn't Update
When I contribute money to my active goals it is not updating the saved so far or available balances. Is this broken? I noticed this yesterday.
Re: Ability to customize 'Most Used Categories' (edited)
Another way to handle this would be to get rid of the "Most Used Categories" section of the dropdown menu and replace it with a "Favorite Categories" section that works like a typical "Favorites…" list in other apps.
That is, when the user marks an item as a "Favorite," it shows up in the section. Otherwise it doesn't. That would put it entirely under the user's control.
