When I contribute money to my active goals it is not updating the saved so far or available balances. Is this broken? I noticed this yesterday.

    @brucelee1968

I had a similar experience today. I contributed to five active goals this morning, one after the other, then noticed that two of them said there had been no contribution.

When I tried again on one of those, I noticed a reddish banner at the top of the page saying there had been an error. When I redid it again, the banner did not appear and the contribution appeared to have gone through.

Could you try doing the contributions again? And checking the amount on the contribution page that says "Saved in July"? (Or maybe you have already done that.)

That doesn't work, basically Savings Goals in Simplifi Online are not working for me

    Hello @brucelee1968,

Thanks for reaching out! What specifically is occurring when you try to make a contribution? Does an error of any sort appear, or does nothing at all happen? If you use the Quicken Simplifi mobile application, can you make a contribution there? Or you can try another web browser/incognito mode as well. Let us know!

No error messages when I use the browser but did get one on the phone app. I tried a different browser and incognito mode and still the same issue.

    Hello @brucelee1968,

Thanks for the reply and the screenshot. Does this occur with all of your goals, or just a singular one? If the latter is the case, can you also provide a screenshot of that savings goal?

Is seems to be consistent with all of my goals. No matter which goal I select, it does not update. It does seem to update the available balance in my account. It's very strange.

    Hello @brucelee1968,

Thanks for the information. If you create a new savings goal and try to contribute to it, does the same thing occur as with the existing savings goals?

I tried creating a new one from scratch and the same thing happens. I will add money but it will not increase the savings amount.

I chatted with a Coach at Quicken and they opened a case for this issue.

I am having this issue too. 3 goals I created last week are just gone. Other goals have the wrong amounts. When I contribute to them, the money "goes away" from the account, but the goal amount doesn't change. If I go to the "account" view, I can see these "unknown goals". And this is after I deleted all my goals and recreated them a couple months ago because this same thing has happened before. Super frustrating.

    Hello @MattS,

Thank you for letting us know you're seeing a similar issue. Is this happening in the web app, the mobile app, or both? You mentioned this happened a couple months ago. Did you contact Support about the issue the first time it happened, or did deleting and recreating your goals correct the issue until this recent reoccurrence?

I look forward to your response!

Desktop, not mobile. No, I didn't contact support because I am never doing my finances during the hours that you provide support and I have found no way to "submit a ticket" for off hours support. Thus, here we are. Deleting them all and recreating fixed it previously, until now.

side note: the issue is in both Firefox and Chrome because I switched back to Firefox a few weeks ago and it still happened. not that this seemed like a client-side issue anyway.

    Thank you for your reply,

To clarify, does "not mobile" mean that you use mobile and the problem doesn't exist there, or does it mean that you don't use the mobile app? Was there anything that the savings goals that vanished had in common (same amount, same type of goal, etc.)?

You made mention of being able to see the "unknown goals". If possible, please provide a screenshot of how they appear in the account view (please make sure to redact any personal information).

    Thank you!

I have noticed this also with my savings goals. I actually just deleted them all because they were not working properly and even though all of my savings goals are deleted it's still showing a phantom savings goal amount of $1,200 on the dashboard. It's definitely not working properly.
