Re: Expected/allowed spending overages? (Seasonal income)
Just brainstorming here:
- I would set up two separate cash accounts at my bank:
- First one (checking or savings - probably a HYS account) to hold all my seasonal income.
- Second one (checking) as my living expense payment account.
- Set up a monthly transfer from my savings account to my checking account for the amount of my monthly planned draw.
- Create a recurring income series (savings account not connected to QS) or transfer series (savings account connected to QS) for this monthly deposit.
I would experiment with the savings account whether to connect it to QS or not.
If the savings account is connected QS will treat the transaction as a transfer and you will want to change the default exclusions so that this transfer is included in your Spending Plan as income. There is a trick to doing this in whether to include both sides of the transfer or only the transfer in side and leave the transfer out side excluded. I assume the transfer will show up in the "Transfers & Credit Card Payments" section on the Bills page as a positive number increasing you available for the month.
If the savings account is not connected to QS, you can simply treat the deposit transaction as recurring income that will show up in the Spending Plan on the Income page.
Again, just brainstorming but this may work for you.

Re: Unable to view Web App Version from mobile web browser
Personally, yes. Like I said, I can scroll down and hold the scroll finger down to see the version. It's not "perfect" but it's probably not something any priority should be given to —- it could be better, but it's fine.
Close it (if it were up to me), on the iPhone i usually use the app anyhow.

Re: Simplifi has the worst customer service
@BrandonG, we are not privy to that type of information here in the Community, and our teams do not provide ETAs. The issue has been escalated from our end, and as soon as we have any news to share, it will be posted to the Alert.
I'm afraid I don't have anything further to contribute to this discussion, other than once again recommending that you track the account manually while the connection is down, to keep your records up to date.
Otherwise, we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter, and apologize for the frustration.
Re: How is Bill Connect supposed to handle the next (not current) credit card payment?
I can't tell for sure yet, but…
It looks to me like the next reminder shows the greater of (1) the amount of spending since the last statement, or (2) the default amount.
I think that because (1) my lesser-used credit cards that have a zero default amount are showing the amount of spending since the statement, while (2) my main credit card that has a substantial default amount is still showing the default (because actual spending has not yet reached the default amount).
When my actual spending exceeds the default on my main credit card I will know for sure if it works like that.
If it does, it will work well for me because it allows me to estimate a likely statement amount for the main credit card and use that to project cash flow earlier in the monthly cycle. (Instead of using just the charges so far, which would inflate the projected checking balance.)

Re: Auto Loan Shows as a Positive Value (edited)
I've decided it's not really important to have the loan accounts, so I removed them. I still track the payments for them and for now that's enough. I know the payoff dates, so it'll be fine without them.
Re: Add support for Investor360
When will my.investor360.com (Investor360) be fixed? It was working fine up until 4 or so months back and now it doesn't update. Please fix :-)
Re: Bill Connect: Chase Credit Cards (edited)
Receiving updates for credit card bills can now be done with our Bill Connect for Credit Cards feature!
Re: Quicken AI - What is the benefit?
Yesterday while doing some testing of features in Simplifi, I notice that the AI option has been removed as @Coach Jon previously stated would happen. I assume that means there aren't any AI features enabled in the apps.

Re: Convert Reminders to a Transaction on the day they occur [edited] (1 Merged Vote)
I would definitely use "Ability to create a transaction from a Reminder" on a regular basis. Already voted for it :)
