New Feature Alert: Bill Connect for Credit Cards!

We’re excited to introduce a powerful new enhancement available on both the Quicken Simplifi Web and Mobile Apps—automatically updating credit card payment reminders!
With this new feature, your credit card reminders will now reflect real-time balance and due date info, pulled directly from your connected credit card account. It’s a smarter, easier way to stay on top of your payments and manage your cash flow, and is especially helpful if your card isn't supported through Bill Connect.
Once set up, Simplifi uses your online banking connection to gather bill presentment data (like statement balances and due dates) and automatically updates your reminders. No more manual edits to keep your credit card reminder amounts updated!
What’s New?
Once your recurring payment is set up correctly, you’ll see a new “Bill Connect” tab when editing the Series. Here, you can enable automatic updates for your reminders using real-time account data — even before the statement closes!
Throughout the month:
Quicken Simplifi keeps your reminders updated using the aggregated balance from your bank.
After the statement closes:
The system automatically updates the reminder with the final statement balance, total balance, or minimum due — depending on your preference.
Why it matters:
- Automatically reflects your real credit card balance in reminders
- Reduces the need for manual updates
- Helps improve your financial visibility and planning
Getting started is simple:
- Make sure your Recurring Credit Card Payment Series is set up as a Linked Transfer Series. To do this, change the Category of the Series to the receiving credit card account.
- Ensure your credit card account is connected to your bank, so we can retrieve the bill data.
Once your setup is complete, you’ll see a new “Bill Connect” tab in the Edit Series screen. This is where you enable the automatic updates!

Statement Balance: The Reminder amount will be updated to the Statement Balance once the statement period closes.

Note: The Statement Closing Date and Due Date shown in this tab come directly from your bank and cannot be edited.
A Few Things to Know:
- This feature is best suited for users who wait for their statement to close before paying.
- There’s a 3-day buffer after the statement closes before the final amount appears in Simplifi.
