Re: Ability to auto-backup and restore data (edited)
I think it is worth reiterating to everyone what Rob says here:
Never DELETE an account unless you truly want to lose all those transactions. Make the account manual. Even if you cannot reconnect it for some reason, you'll have your data.
And also be aware that deleting a bank (or FI) in Account Settings will delete any associated accounts. I learned this the hard way when I was a newbie!
I am sorry this happened to you Matthew, and hope you are on the way to rebuilding your data.

Re: Risks of Using Keep Me Signed In? (edited)
As long as you are using it on your home device and you alone have access then I don't think there is that great a risk.
But if you sign into your account on a public computer or someone else's device, then I wouldn't select this option, and I would sign out deliberately after I was finished.

Re: Add an option for "Select All" and "Select None" when using Filters (edited)
I'd like to be able to CHECK ALL boxes at the top of the list of categories, if for example, I'm in Reports > Total Spending > Filters > Categories — the reason this feature would be helpful is if you want to quickly (but temporarily) exclude a single large expense from your regular expenses. For example, I just paid for a new roof - of course, this isn't a normal expense for our household. So, I could filter my total spending by (a new) CHECK ALL button a the top, and then scroll down to uncheck a category which the new roof falls into. This would show all my normal lifestyle expenses, averages per month, etc. without the unusual and large expense of the new roof. This is easy to do on the website, but currently not possible on the mobile app.
Re: Make Simplifi's "automatic" actions subject to user control in Settings
I think this is a great idea! Upvoted.
Re: Ability to auto-backup and restore data (edited)
The solution 'should' have been (if everything worked right) mark the existing apple wallet account as manual rather than deleting it, then relink (when re-connecting to apple wallet) the apple wallet account to the existing manual account.
However, I think you'll find an existing request for backups, probably with more votes. I'm looking for it now: [removed link to merged thread]

Re: Credit Card Account – Replacement (edited)
I agree with @Flopbot , what I do is make the existing account manual, then when adding the account from the bank connection, link it to the existing account. It actually is the same account, just a different card number.

Re: Credit Card Account – Replacement (edited)
I’ve had to do this once while using Simplifi. I kept using the same type of card (Visa Chase Freedom), the last four digits just changed. When this occurred, I just went into Settings > Account and disconnected the old (bad #) card. Then, I reconnected the new (good #) card to that same exact account. In the register, you’ll see transactions for the old card followed immediately by transactions from the new card.
In my case, I add the last four digits of the card number to my account name, so I also had to adjust it there.

Re: Credit Card Account – Replacement (edited)
@RobWilk, @Flopbot, Thank you both for the reponses. With the details, I thought that would be the approach. I like the idea of making the account a manual account and then make it back active when the new card number is known. Thank you both again.
