Re: Transaction list not grouping by date correctly
@strwrsdbz, thanks for the reply!
I was unable to replicate this myself, but I agree with what Coach Kristina called out above, since she posted this on October 5th —
What I notice is that it seems to cut off based on the date, with everything 5 Oct and earlier showing in "2023" and October transactions that happened after 5 Oct, showing in "October 2023".
Is this disrupting your workflow in any particular way, or is it just something you noticed? I ask for the following reasons:
- If Coach Kristina's determination is proven true, I wouldn't necessarily consider it a bug.
- We are going to be releasing a completely new register in the coming months, which will render a lot of bugs or design flaws with the current register obsolete.
Understanding the impact will help us determine how to proceed.
Re: American Express Connection Acting Up But Working
@SRC54, thanks for letting us know!
Yes, we have been seeing intermittent connection issues with American Express across all products. I believe the following Alert covers the issue, based on what I'm seeing from my end.
I hope this helps you know that you also are not alone! 🙂
Re: "Saved for goals" shows $0
It wasn't browser specific, but it seems to be resolved now in version 4.77.0
Re: Foreign share market share price updates
Karl, you might be using Quicken Classic and not the online Quicken Simplifi. This community is for Simplifi.
If so, you might want to post this in the Quicken Classic Support Community:

Lost connection to Bank of America Card
Simplifi tells me to reconnect but after login says I have the connection try another bank.
Never mind, I went to accounts and try again fixed it

Re: "Notes" cannot be updated from Transactions page
Related: I noticed the same thing with payee name today, i could only edit it from the full transaction page. It let me change it from the transaction list, but it would not save it. I may or may not have an earlier access version of the transaction list, I am not certain.

Re: Transaction list not grouping by date correctly
Looks like you're seeing the same thing I am, and you've described the same thing I did in the text after my screenshot :)
Sorry for the wrong post type. My last post seemed pretty clearly a bug and people said the opposite on that one. But context is everything. I'll get the hang of this eventually.
Re: Convert Reminders to a Transaction on the day they occur [edited] (1 Merged Vote)
@SRC54 for me most reminders would be automatic, but there is the occasional one-off bill that I would use the manual option for. I have already voted for the other idea as well. I would be pretty happy with either.
Re: Convert Reminders to a Transaction on the day they occur [edited] (1 Merged Vote)
@RobWilk This feature is an option in Quicken desktop and I would assume that if implemented here, it would also be an option per transaction reminder as to if it should be automatically entered. If true, you could disable this option as you do not wish to use it. I think for many, we want them automatically entered as the payment itself is set up to automatically withdraw from the account. If the payment is a manual payment then I would not select that option, as you mention, because I don't know the exact day I will pay it.
Re: Convert Reminders to a Transaction on the day they occur [edited] (1 Merged Vote)
With time, I've come to realize I do not want this feature. While I do want the ability to convert a reminder to a transaction, I don't want anything entered automatically from reminders. I may schedule things that don't have definitive dates, and i'd rather have them move forward as a 'past due' reminder, than a transaction. Reminders are to remind me to make payments, and if it's auto entered, I will never remember. Also, what about the case where a reminder is income, and it gets auto-entered but is not actually in the account for some reason -it could cause me to spend money i don't have.
In short, I think I am now the first no vote for this idea.
