"Notes" cannot be updated from Transactions page

When one transaction already has Notes, we cannot update the Notes unless we open the full transaction, and Save it. Cannot be edited from the Transactions page (updates do not save)

    Related: I noticed the same thing with payee name today, i could only edit it from the full transaction page. It let me change it from the transaction list, but it would not save it. I may or may not have an earlier access version of the transaction list, I am not certain.

    Thank you for letting us know! I see the same behavior when I test in my Quicken Simplifi.

    @RobWilk,

    Thank you for letting us know about this issue with editing the payee name. I wasn't able to replicate the issue that you describe. Would you provide more details? Which browser are you using? When you update the payee name, are you using a new name, or one that's already in your list of payees (or does it make any difference)?

    @Coach Kristina (who probably went home for night & Weekend, so @Coach Natalie or @Coach Jon ):

    I had a transaction with a name:

    (Planned) Unity CC

    And I edited it on the transaction list to:

    Unity CC

    (because it was done)

    But when I checked later it was still the (Planned) one.

    But that only happened one time, and now when I check, it's working.

    It "might" have been an auto-complete issue where i typed in the shorter name, but from the suggestion list it still suggested the alternate version when I pressed enter (which i noticed happening just now).

    @RobWilk, thanks for the reply! I'm glad to hear that what you experienced was a one-time thing.

    As for not being able to edit notes, I am not seeing this issue in my own Quicken Simplifi. I was able to tab through the fields of a transaction inline (directly in the register) and make changes as expected. I am also able to open the Transaction Detail view and make changes there as expected. With that, please provide a video of the behavior so we can get a clearer picture of what's going on.
