QBP: Estimated Quarterly Tax Calculator (edited)

It would be great for Quicken Business & Personal to have an automated quarterly tax calculator built-in that takes the guesswork out of what we should be paying every quarter. Also, if it had a connection to directly pay to our EFTPS account within Quicken that would be great too. Quickbooks Self-Employed offers this and it was nice to have.

It would be great to have a built-in quarterly tax payment calculator and a calendar with official due dates and reminders so we can always know when to pay quarterly taxes and how much.

This would be totally cool to have the calculator built in. Most if not all the main tie-in to the tax line items are there. There are other variables not accounted for in Simplifi, so maybe have two adjustments, $+/- line item and a %+/- line item.
I currently have all my quarterly taxes, fed and state, set up on the due dates with my calc's amounts. It'll be harder for Simplifi to get the state due dates, as at least CA has only 3 payments.

Yea, I am coming from Quickbooks Self-Employed and it had a quarterly tax feature that was nice to have. It was simple, basically just saying you owe this amount on this date for this quarter. It also linked with your EFTPS account and would pay for you directly within QB, and then track/categorize that payment automatically. Pretty efficient, pretty neat. Would be nice to see QBP build in something like that.

@cyberstackn we the target market is huge for Simplifi. It would be nice to see an real hyper focus on these tools for us. Are you see a benefit for QBP over basic? I have all my business catagories completely functional using basic. I have all my business payables in Melio and business invoicing is in a dedicated industry specific platform. All accounting is in Simplifi. I've done this forever - one "accounting" platform combining both business and personal. KISS principal.

I just started with QBP a few weeks ago, so I've never used the personal-only version. But I really like QBP so far, much better than Quickbooks Self-Employed, which is kind of a ripoff for what it is.
