No Consistent TIAA Connectivity for Months - FDP-106 error (edited)
With very rare exceptions, SimpliFi has not been able to connect to my TIAA accounts for MONTHS, most often with the following error:
"This usually happens if an account nickname or number has changed at your bank. To fix you must reconnect your account.(Care code: FDP-106)."
I have attempted all the suggested solutions provided by SimpliFi customer support, NONE of which have solved the problem. If the issue is not resolved by December 31, 2025, I intend to cancel my SimpliFi subscription and find an alternative service provider.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.

@Strategos, thank you for reaching out to the Community with this issue!
We definitely understand how frustrating and disruptive connection issues can be. Unfortunately, with TIAA specifically, it does look like they're blocking us, and it may be a long-term issue. While our team works with our service provider and the bank to resolve the issue, we have created an Alert that can be followed for updates:
In the meantime, you can manually track the account to keep your records up to date. Since the account is likely an investment account, you'd first want to make it manual so you can add/edit holdings:
And this article goes over managing investment holdings in manual investment accounts:
Once the connection issue is resolved, you'd be able to link the account back up with the bank. I apologize for not having a better solution for you, but I hope this helps!

Same thing here. My TIAA accounts have been offline for I do not remember how long. All troubleshooting did not solve the issue.
