[RESOLVED] 1/5/26: Tax Planner Has Incorrect Tax Calculation for 2026
We are currently seeing an issue with Tax Planner in Quicken Business & Personal where users see an incorrect calculation for Tax Year 2026. This is a known issue that we are working to resolve as quickly as possible, and we anticipate having a fix out for both the Web and Mobile Apps within the next couple of weeks.
In the meantime, we have added in-product messaging on the Mobile App, as well as disabled the Tax Planner there. Users will also see messaging on the Web App; however, the Tax Planner will still be available, just with incorrect numbers.
If you are using the Web App, there is a workaround: Users can switch from projected to year-to-date or custom amount in your Personal Income & Tax Profile. This is a drop-down tied to each field where the customer can change how we calculate their numbers.
If you would like to be automatically notified of any updates regarding this issue, please "bookmark" this Alert by clicking the bookmark ribbon in the upper right corner.
Thank you!
