Display Transactions by 'Transaction Date' Rather Than 'Posted Date' (edited)

it's not only "end-of-month or end-of-year" it's also start-of-month and start-of-year… you don't need to do this manual work on other Apps, as they budget based on purchase-transaction dates.

To me, these are pretty much the same thing. After all, moving a transaction from the end of one period to the start of another (or vice-versa) changes the accounting on both sides.

Right - but the month issue means it happens much more often

I think you are responding to me, but I'm not sure what you mean.
I wrote about adjustments that may need to be made for "end-of-month or end-of-year accounting." I'm pretty sure these things happen once a month or once a year, respectively. 😏
What is it that happens "much more often"?

End of month is more often then end of year :) that's all I was pointing out.
