College Savings Iowa 529 -- use Aggregator link (edited)
I'm looking to connect College Savings Iowa 529 account. It's currently an option through simplifi but with standard website/login that uses 2FA. As a result, every time I login to simplifi I'm asked to re-authorize both of our accounts. Iowa 529 has an aggregator login for financial institutions to avoid the 2FA issue. Is there anything I can do to get Quicken/simplifi to change to using the aggregator link? [removed] uses the aggregator link.

Hello @bls0n,
Thanks for posting your request to the Community!
Although Simplifi does not currently support the use of an API with College Savings Iowa 529, I have gone ahead and turned this post into a request so other users can vote on it and our Product Team can review it.
I hope this helps!

I also am seeking to have Simplifi support the use of an API to connect to College Savings Iowa 529, and any other accounts that offer the option of not having to use 2FA each time I update my accounts in Simplifi. Thanks.

I also request this feature—and I'll add that now, my connection to the 529 account is not working at all, even to prompt the 2FA. I'm getting Care Code: FDP-163 every time.

I also am strongly requesting this feature. This is not a hard thing to implement or do — the link just needs to be changed to the Aggregator link. It should take only a few short minutes of one your specialist's time.
Please prioritize this!

Prioritize this. It's simple. Mint did it. So do competitors.

Hi, is there an update on this? It should not be that difficult to add an additional institution with the aggregator link ( ). It would be great if you could provide a timeline for this feature.

Requesting to prioritize addition of this feature this feature.

Hello, it now has been over 1 year since this request was initially made.
How does the "product team" select features to add @Coach Natalie? Votes? Views? Comments? Because however those features are selected, this situation is leaving and will continue to leave customers from small states like Iowa stranded. This is not how a company builds customer trust, loyalty, and satisfaction in a product.
I can almost certainly guarantee that among the numerous requests the product team handles, this one might be among the least time-intensive — just route to a new link. How come it can't get prioritized? Iowa is a small state, but this is an equally small request to change to the aggregator link. 😀
Please let us know what you can do to expedite or speed this request along. Authenticating every day using the current link is not a real solution — in fact it's not much of a solution at all for a financial aggregator service!0 -
any update. This is quick and easy fix helping 529 accounts

This isn't hard. Just change the URL assigned to the Iowa 529 plan to use the Aggregator URL. That's all we need. Please fix!

STILL LOOKING FOR A FIX HERE. SUGGESTION: CHANGE THE URL FOR THIS SERVICE/INSTITUTION TO THE AGGREGATOR LINK I SUPPLIED. PLEASE FIX.

Same issue in Indiana — 529 account uses the non-aggregator link. Seems like an easy fix, but alas…

Reporting the same issue with Indiana 529 Direct (formerly known as CollegeChoice 529). The connection started failing in early July, and I haven't been able to restore it since then.
I've tried reconnecting with both the "Indiana CollegeChoice529" and "Indiana CollegeChoice529 - Non Aggregator" financial institutions. Entering my username and password prompts me to provide 2FA codes, after which I consistently get this error:
> This usually happens if an account nickname or number has changed at your bank. To fix you must reconnect your account. Care Code: FDP-106
Using the alternative third-party aggregator credentials (intended for https://www.indiana529direct.com/aggregator) does not work at all.
I find it hard to justify my subscription to the Quicken Simplifi service if I cannot have all my financial accounts aggregated in one place.
