Spring is here and we all want to know what you guys like doing when the weather decides to get warmer! Spring Break, Mardi Gras, and even St. Patrick's Day bring about a lot of great activities for everyone this time of year. I myself love finally seeing the color return to the trees where I live.

Let us know what you love doing with the arrival of springtime!

Early spring is usually when I start doing spring cleaning. It's still too chilly for outdoor activities, but the extra daylight hours make me want to get more stuff done around the house. Later in the season, it warms up enough to make gardening and going for bike rides pleasant.

Mine is similar to Danny's, just walking! It's too cold to do that in the winter, and too hot to do that in the summer.

We had one nice day at home so far (I'm not home for a period of time I'd rather not disclose), and I got this 3 mile walk in already about a week ago:

Like everyone else, I love the flowers and the greening of the trees. We start getting blooms and buds in February; however, the wide variations in temperatures lead to trouble — tornadoes. From February until May we have several that come through our neck of the woods so everyone stays on edge thanks to the weather people.

It was more fun growing up in Mobile because we had Mardi Gras and Easter and the azaleas in bloom. Winters were mild anyhow and tornadoes not much of a concern there. We are the Camellia state, but in Mobile, those bloom in the winter.

Even here in central Alabama, there are mild days in January and many more in February. Spring has completely sprung now. The peach orchards are probably in bloom. By April, everything will be green and even the dogwoods will flower. Though I don't see them as much lately.

I also love the birds chirping and the flowers and trees blooming! The sunshine and warmer weather have been very welcome as well. 'Tis the season for hikes and bike rides before it gets too hot!
