Possible calculation errors in bill paid notification(s)
Per title,
Here's an example:
$37.98 minus $12.98 = $25.00
So, you would expect the reminder to be for $25.00 even. It's not.
NOTE: I'll say that it's POSSIBLE this is not a calculation error, depending on timing, this "could" be a symptom of the new credit card bill connect feature IF my statement balance was $25 - but i just checked my April month-end statement and the statement balance was $0. In terms of what I would spend $25 typically it might be something like a dunkin/starbucks card reload.
If we want to troubleshoot this further, I am willing and have the data in front of me.
If you want me to check for other recent notifications, I can do that to.
I'm here if needed.

Hello @RobWilk,
Thanks for letting us know! I think it would be good to see more examples of this behavior as well, so that we can make sure this wasn't just a one-time thing. If you have examples showing more than this one time, please provide them here as well. Otherwise, I would suggest staying on the lookout and letting us know if this happens again.

I cleared my notifications about 15 days ago (i remember doing that).
But what's a bit odder to me, is that this was my only "bill paid" notification in the last 15 days.
I am "almost certain" more bills should have downloaded and matched transactions.
I will also say for the last 2-3 weeks I had been busier than usual on my own projects, so I may have been paying less attention to my simplifi dataset.

Here's an example, clearly this transaction downloaded and auto-populated the name:
But I had not received a bill paid notification according to my notification history.
I will note I just posted elsewhere that I thought my notifications were off because i'm getting so few of them.

If you'd like we could put this bug report maybe "on hold" or something, and I can create yet another bug report about MISSING NOTIFICATIONS (I know someone else, I think DryHeat, was complaining they couldn't turn notifications off but that may have turned out to be a configuration issue).

I know both these examples are Apple Card, that may be relevant. Despite what it looks like here, I don't use the Apple Card much. I use it mostly for Apple Purchases (as higher rewards), as well as T-Mobile (which I believe qualifies for 3% rewards).
