Simplify Subscriptions expired / No notice received / No option to renew
I have been using Simplify for about a year and logged in the other day and received a message indicating that I do not have a subscription. It then says click on Finances below and has my account but it is grey and not clickable.
Anyone have any idea how to renew my subscription vs signing up again and losing my transactions?

Did you try signing into quicken.com to see what the status of your subscription is there? Maybe you can renew it there. As you say, you don't want to start a new subscription.
Did you try to contact support? Good luck.

@RXC, thanks for reaching out to the Community!
I'm not sure what happened with your Quicken Simplifi subscription, as I do see that auto-renew is enabled, but the subscription ended on 4/22/25 at the end of the paid term. At this point, I would recommend going to and purchasing a new subscription. As long as it's under the same email address, you will be able to sign back in and pick up where you left off.
If you need any further assistance with renewing, please contact Chat Support directly for more advanced assistance, as the Community is limited in helping with subscription-related topics.
I hope this helps!

@Coach Natalie That's good to know that if Simplifi subscription expires, you can just start a new subscription with the same email address. Is there any limit to that? I imagine there is a danger that the information would get purged if enough time goes by.
As I recall, I was able to sign in to my quicken account any time even during the years I let my Quicken Classic lapse. Of course, there was no online data in that product.

@SRC54, I'm not aware of a time limit for us to keep expired datasets, but I imagine there is one or will be at some point as we gain more users. I would imagine it wouldn't be any less than a year, but hopefully a little longer than that. There does come a point where it's easier for a user to just start over, though!

@Coach Natalie Thank you so much for the information. I was hesitant to try and start a new account and find out it deleting my history.
Appreciate you.
Enjoy your weekend!
