Credit Card Payments in Checking Account
My credit card payments show up as two transactions in my checking account. One is a deduction showing the payment and another is an addition for the exact same amount. It looks like the impact of the payment is zero since the transactions cancel each other out, but my balance is correct. How do I fix this?

I assume that there is no impact on the balance because it is a connected account and these are cleared transactions. It should be safe to delete the extra one.
Are these categorized as credit card payments or is there a linking transfer to the credit card account?
If the latter, just make sure the remaining account is linked to the credit card account. If not, you can link it. It is up to you whether to have both sides as just Credit Card Payment or to link them. Simplifi will probably offer to do it if you don't.
Hope this helps.

I've noticed this too, it seems like a bug - perhaps. Unfortunately, I don't have great advise about what causes it or how to fix it. Right now, I've just been deleted the problematic reminder in the CHK register. It SEEMS LIKE this occurs after I've edited the Recurring Series although I'm not positive about that yet. I haven't been using the new CC biller feature for long enough to have picked out a pattern, but it definitely started when Simplifi added the new CC biller feature.
Before that feature, my CC reminders had been working consistently for several years.
Steve had some good troubleshooting questions.

Would it be easer if can identify the account to be credited and debited. I would think it would be. The only item missing is he account to be debited or credited.

Hello @Dick_Davis,
Thanks for reaching out! @SRC54 had some great troubleshooting questions that would definitely help us understand your situation. Additionally, remember that for connected accounts within Quicken Simplifi, the balance is not updated from the transactions in the register, but from your bank during aggregation.

Evening SRC54,
Now I understand from your response that Simplifi does not up the balance as Quicken Classic does. With Simplifi, the balance for the accounts are downloaded. This the balance. I am with the presumption that this works for all the connected accounts the same way.
