Merrill Lynch LMA loan account downloads as a positive number (edited)

Hi

My Merrill Lynch LMA loan account downloads as a positive number. Since it's charged interest, it increases monthly so offsetting with dummy transactions becomes a manual nuisance. Maybe this is a feature request, but it would be nice to be able to change this value to a negative number easily.

Secondly, even though I exclude the total of the LMA from spending plans and reports, it still totals with the Liabilities in the Dashboard left panel.

    Thanks for reaching out! To clarify, your account balance for this loan account is showing up as a positive amount within Quicken Simplifi, correct? Does it show up this way on the bank's website? Has this account always downloaded this way, or is this a new development? Let us know!

    Hi Jon,

    Yes it shows up as a positive number at ML. I don't know why ML does this but it seems incorrect. I never thought much of it since I never had to manage it with accounting SW.

    All I can think to do to make my dashboard accurate is to create a manual account.
