Schwab "check numbers" not in the Quicken "check number" field

Hi Community,

For a long time in my Schwab/Quicken connection, the check number is appearing in the Payee and in the Memo but NOT in the Check Number field. I've been ignoring it but it's now a problem. Any ideas out there on how I can fix this for my accounts or is everyone having this issue? I've done everything that I've found on-line thus far.

Thanks

    Well, you don't really need the check number. Is this in Simplifi as an investment account or a checking account? If an investment account, that may be why it isn't downloading the check number in the right place. This is a guess. I haven't yet written a check on my investment cash management account. To be truthful I almost never write checks.

    Can you edit the transactions to fix the payees and put the check number in the right place yourself? Do you have a lot of these? I would just put it in myself if you care about having the check numbers.

    What I don't understand is why is the check number in weird places. My wife writes checks and this doesn't happen for us.

    P.S. I now see from Coach that you have Classic, so the check numbers should download in Classic although again I don't know about Investment accounts. Good luck.

    @KrensSmith

    The check # field in transactions is not filled in automatically by QS when data is downloaded.

    New Feature Alert: Amount Matching, Check Number Field, and Date Commands! — Simplifi

    Specifically:

    Next, we have added a Check # field for transactions! You'll see this field in the Transaction Detail view on both the Web and Mobile Apps as of versions 4.14.0 and 5.7.0, and the Web App will also have a Check # column that can be added to your register! Although Quicken Simplifi won't aggregate check numbers from your bank, this field can be used to manually track check numbers and many other types of payments, such as "ACH" and "Auto Pay".
