Unable to Import Old Investment Transactions
Hi,
I had a connection issue that required disconnecting and reconnecting my Fidelity Investments accounts, and when I reconnected, it only pulled 30 days, so I lost last few years of data! When I try to manually add this data from .csv files (allows 90 days of transactions), the template does not match brokerage columns (appears made for regular bank transactions), so I'm stuck as Simplifi doesn't support backup… :(.
Any guidance appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello @g262,
Thanks for reaching out! I am sorry to hear that this happened to you. We do not currently support importing for investment accounts within Quicken Simplifi, but our product team is reviewing this feature, and we do have an idea post here that you can add your vote to and follow for updates:
We also have an idea post for the ability to auto-backup and restore data that you can vote for and follow here:
I apologize for not having a better solution.

Lack of support for backup has bitten me now 3 times while using Simplifi, and is making me seriously reconsider renewing for another year (particularly since the significant price jump). Simplifi still feels like its still in beta in many regards… Backup/restore is a pretty basic capability that most apps that I use have…

Hello @g262,
I can certainly understand your frustration here. I would still suggest voting for and following the idea post I shared regarding this idea, however, as we will be sure to update the idea post itself if it does eventually come to be a feature integrated within the program.
Thank you for your patience.
