How do I add a Transfer Subcategory? (edited)
Hello all,
When I look at my categories and subcategories it does not show me the Transfer category that I can see in the app. Why is this and how can I manually add a transfer sub category. I have a number of PayPal transactions that are really money transfers to my wife's PayPal debit card.

If you do not want to maintain a manual version of the account you're transferring to, another option is to use the Transfer category without selecting an account.

Thanks for reaching out! There is no way to manually add a transfer sub-category within Quicken Simplifi at this time; however, you can always categorize a transaction as a transfer by changing the category it is currently assigned to the name of the "to" account you are transferring to. Thats the problem…its going from one of my accounts, to an account not known by Simplifi.

You can create a Manual account to represent that account that's not in Simplifi, and then you'll be able to categorize them as Transfers to that account.
