4.66.0 version has duplicate Uncategorized category in filters (edited)

When in the Transaction view and attempting to filter by category, the Uncategorized category appears twice.

I'm not seeing a second "Uncategorized" category in my filter list. I'm pretty sure the one at the bottom of your image is the built-in one. Is it possible that the one up above it was manually added to the category list?

You could look at the "Categories & tags" area under Settings to see if one of them shows up there. That would probably mean it was added, as I don't think the built in categories are visible in the list in Settings

@DryHeat , thanks for the feedback. I did look in my list of categories and don't see an Uncategorized category listed. Are you on version 4.66?

Thanks for reaching out. You will not find the 'Uncategorized' category within Settings > Categories & tags. It is strange that it is listed twice in your filters window, however. I am not seeing this on my side. Is it still showing this way when you try to filter by category?

Yes, I'm on version 4.66.

And yes, I am now seeing two "Uncategorized" categories when I choose to Filter a Transaction Activity list.

They are arranged a little differently, I think because I am using QBP. The first is under "Other" and the second is at the top level along with "Business" "Personal" "Transfer" and "Other".

Hello everyone,

Since the 4.72.0 Web Release is now out, be sure to let us know if the fix that was implemented resolved the issue reported here. I can verify that from my side, I only have one Uncategorized category when filtering. Thank you!

I had two but now have only one Uncategorized category.

The one at the top level remains; the one under Other is gone. Compare this to prior image:
