Unable to add even Accounts with just DIV- Reinvest transactions
I was trying to add a Franklin Templeton ROTH IRA account where I have some securities. These are just there as a buy and hold not adding new transactions. This account stopped updating and I raised a ticket with support and they told me this below:
"It looks like Quicken Simplifi does not Consider the "Div REINVEST" as transactions or movements in the Account so this is making Simplifi to not discover the Accounts to add them in the App.
You will nee to have an entry like Buy, Sell or Deposits, to make Simplifi to identify the Account and be able to add it in Simplifi, Sorry for this inconveniences there."
in my view, its is a serious deficiency or issue when you have accounts where you are not doing transactions.
Anybody else figure out how to resolve this type of issue and added their account?

Forgot to add - the way as it works, we need at least 1 transaction within the last 30-90 days to be able to detect the accounts as active to add them into Simplifi.

Hello @sb2,
Thanks for reaching out! I was able to locate the recent support ticket you opened with one of our agents and read through it. To clarify, we do require activity within the last 90 days in order to add the account into Quicken Simplifi. Have you not had at least 1 transaction within the last 90 days for this account?

Hello @sb2,
I am back with an update! After verifying, I can also confirm that Franklin Templeton Investments is no longer supported within Quicken Simplifi. We do have an Unsupported Banks alert you can follow for updates if this changes in the future here:
If you wish to track the investment account manually within Quicken Simplifi, be sure to make the account manual so you can keep your records up to date and add/edit Holdings: How to Make an Account 'Manual' | Quicken Simplifi Help Center
Add/edit your Holdings to keep accurate records: Tracking Investments in Quicken Simplifi | Quicken Simplifi Help Center and Tracking Investments in Quicken Simplifi | Quicken Simplifi Help Center
I hope this helps!
