Simplifi - Vanguard sync Care Code: FDP-350 (edited)

I changed my Vanguard accounts to manual.

I attempted to add Vanguard accounts back:

The process connected me to sign in to Vanguard.

…Then, I was logged into my Vanguard account website.

This process did not occur: "Quicken Simplifi will locate the account(s) associated with your User ID and Password and will display the Account Name and Type, as well as a checkbox to add or ignore each account."

Please advise. Monitoring my Vanguard accounts is an important part of my use of a budgeting tool.

    Hello @CT Saver,

Thanks for reaching out! I can see from our side that you are receiving an FDP-350 error when trying to connect. This error typically represents an invalid or expired token. To gain a new token, you will have to revoke Quicken from accessing your bank's website, then reconnect your accounts.

    • Navigate to the bank's website, sign in, and then remove Quickens access from the bank's third-party linked apps.
    • Navigate back to Quicken Simplifi and make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here.
    • Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
    • If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.

Let us know how this goes!

Hi, thanks for your quick & comprehensive reply.

    To confirm:

    • Navigate to the bank's website, sign in, and then remove Quickens access from the bank's third-party linked apps. DONE
    • Navigate back to Quicken Simplifi and make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here. DONE
    • Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank. THIS NOW WORKS
    • If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here. TO CONFIRM: these instructions indicate "add new" and not "link to" — IS THAT ACCURATE?

    Hello @CT Saver,

You will want to link to your existing Quicken Simplifi accounts. If the actual Add Account flow worked in connecting, you should be good to go. Let us know!
