Fidelity Visa shows correct balance, but not showing transactions
Ive tried multiple times to add my Fidelity Visa to Simplifi (via Fidelity Inv and ret, Fidelity investments, and the myaccountaccess.com methods. Only Fidelity investments -formerly Akoya- worked), and it would pull down the correct balance, but the transactions would be empty. The account was added and set up as a "Credit Card" account.
Today, I gave up and manually added most of my transactions, then saw a mention on another forum of a different type of fidelity account not showing transactions a year or so ago unless it was set to "checking" type account, so as a last ditch effort, I tried swapping it to "Checking" type, and one small transaction that I had not yet manually entered showed up automatically. This was the first and only transaction that automatically showed up for me on this account
I would like to use Simplifi to keep managing my budget, and I plan to use this fidelity Visa as my primary card, but I need the transactions to be tracked to do that.
The fact that one transaction finally showed up when I changed the type to "Checking" seems to suggest there's something weird going on between Simplifi's interpretation of the transactions in the "credit card" account type and the format of the data from the Elan Fidelity Visa

Hello @Curanthir,
Thanks for reaching out! This is certainly strange behavior. To clarify, is the account in question currently connected within Quicken Simplifi? I am wondering if your user token may have expired with Fidelity. This can happen after having the account connected for more than 90 days.
To gain a new token, you will have to revoke Quicken from accessing your bank's website, then reconnect your accounts.
- Navigate to the bank's website, sign in, and then remove Quicken's access from the bank's third-party linked apps.
- Make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here.
- Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
- If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.
Let us know how this goes!

The account is connected, yes, but it has only been about a week since I first connected it, as I just got this card recently. Today was 5 days since the first purchases since I linked accounts, and no transactions showed up here despite showing up and fully clearing on Fidelity/Elan's side. Balance updated on Simplifi as transactions cleared though.
I will try disconnecting and reconnecting to see if that helps or not though.1 -
Hello @Curanthir,
Thanks for the reply. It would not hurt to try these steps regardless, just in case it is token-related. Let us know how this goes!

I have reconnected, and see a recent transaction, but I am still in "checking" designation for the account, I'll swap to credit card and see if the transactions continue to appear or not, will take a couple days for them to clear and I'll get back with you.

so I still do not see new transactions days after they were made. Brand new pending transactions show up fine on my Chase visa in Simplifi, and also on my fidelity app for my fidelity visa, but not on simplifi for my fidelity visa.
When the charges finally clear, they seem to show up in simplifi, but that can sometimes take a week or longer, so I need to be able to see the pending transactions too.0 -
Hello @Curanthir,
Thanks for the update! To clarify, are you stating that the transactions do eventually show up within Quicken Simplifi? Is it just pending transactions that are not showing up? Please let us know! If you can provide a screenshot of the account register so we may have a better understanding, this would be helpful as well.

As of now, it looks like only pending transactions don't show up, which can be a problem when it sometimes takes a week or so for some transactions to clear. My other credit card on simplifi shows pending transactions the day they are made.
Here is my current fidelity activity, note the pending transaction from 2 days ago
Here is my Simplifi activity of the same card, pending transactions are missing:

Hello @Curanthir,
Thanks for the reply and clarification! With Fidelity, no pending transactions will be sent, and they will only appear when they are cleared. We understand that this may cause inconvenience for some of our users, and we have been working with Fidelity to address this issue. Our support article goes into more detail here:
