"You have x bills this week" notification appears to have wrong count
According to the e-mail notification, I have 6 bills due this week:
But if I look at my actual reminders for the next -8- days (depending on what it considers a week), I see only 3 reminders (technically only 2 but one has 2 sides):
(This screenshot was from the 'net worth' page and includes reminders from all accounts, i included the out of date range Amazon prime reminder to show there were no more after citi youtube during the week).
I think i posted something similar in the past, but could not find it to add to it, maybe it was archived.

6 bills, wow, that's nice… here's my notification:
The most I can come with looking at various screens in QS is 16 from Monday (today) and next Monday and that's included recurring income events along with recurring expenses. I've never found this notification to be all that accurate.
I have a total of 27 recurring bills and subscriptions listed in my Spending Plan for the entire month of September so no clue where the "29" comes from in this notification.
Side thought: If whatever QS is using to come up with this number is in anyway connected with how the bills are tabulated for the Prompt Payer Achievement badges, no wonder that thing is so allusive!

I turned this off as unnecessary several months ago. I know what bills are due already in the Spending Report, the Bills and Income module as well as the Bills and Income card in the Dashboard. 😀

I had all notifications turned off for a long time. Recently something came up that caused me to turn on a few of the notifications including this one. Same as you, I don't need to be notified about what's coming up… I've been on auto-drive for years with the exception of a our three home service providers that I still pay manually.

Yep. Agreed. I turn them on from time to time just so I can try to understand how they work.

I agree that this is unimportant; still, it is sending out incorrect information, which isn't great.

I have 9 recurring bills coming up this week based on the count on the Bills and Income page. No idea where the additional 20 anticipated bills are coming from.

From the Dashboard view I click on the notification icon and then I click on the upcoming bills notification and that takes me to the Bills & Income page.
Is the "Upcoming Bills" notification meant to include recurring income, recurring expenses (bills and subscriptions) and transfers? The title "Upcoming Bills" implies to me that this notification is about recurring expenses (bills and subscriptions) but the Bills & Income page includes both recurring income and recurring expenses.
In the Summary at the top of the Bills & Income page, I am given the number of Reminders that are excluded. For this week there are 2 reminders excluded. These will be a couple of recurring transfers to savings.
If I set the dates in the Bills & Income page to September 1 - September 9 I have 16 visible expense and income events and 2 excluded recurring events so even including the 2 excluded, based on the Bills & Income page I have 18 total events.
But, based on the title of the notification, "Upcoming Bills," I surmise this is meant to include ONLY bills (bills & subscriptions).

There are no additional bills this week besides those 2-3 under the bills & income section.

Hello @DannyB,
Thanks for the information. Can you please supply screenshots showing the reminders within the Bills & Income section? This would be helpful to determine what specifically is occurring here.
Can we also have you supply logs as well?
- Log into the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
- Select Profile from the left-hand navigation bar.
- With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key for Mac or the Alt key for Windows, and then click Send Feedback.
- Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.

here are screenshots of my recurring bills and income through Sept 10.
I don't know how QS defines a "week" but since the notification arrived yesterday (Monday) and since the date picker is set up for a Monday - Sunday week, then my conclusion is that the time period for "Upcoming Bills! You have 29 bills due this week." "this week" equals Monday, September 1 through Sunday September 7.
In these screenshots I have included all listed items through the 10th. Note that there is a overlap between each screenshot to ensure that you can confirm I haven't left anything out.
…and log sent.

While I did have to edit the dates of these reminders as they haven't billed yet (Apple is funny about when they bill for subscriptions), there are still only my original 2-3 bills …. There are definitely not 6 as the notification said.

My 2-3 reminders this week are no longer reminders now that the charge came thru.
