Last month's Planned Spending sets itself to 0.00

I've been monitoring this bug since last month. In August, I would find from time to time, that the July Spending Plan would suddenly show the !, and that my Planned Spending categories that had been completed with funds released had all reverted to 0. So that instead of showing the Planned Spend balanced at say $-2300, it now shows that I overspent $-2300. I noticed (or thought) this would happen after an update to the web app.

Now today, the same thing has happened but this time it is August (the last month again). Exactly the same thing. And it shows the same in different browsers and the mobile app as well. We've also not had an update so far this week, so I don't think it has to do with that.

Has anyone else seen this behavior? Could it have anything to do with auto release? I turned it off.

I've sent in my logs and a screenshot to Feedback.

@SRC54, thanks for reaching out to the Community with this issue!

I haven't personally noticed any issues with my Planned Spend expenses resetting themselves to $0 in prior months. I just looked back through August and July and didn't notice any anomalies. I also don't use auto-release, so that definitely may have something to do with it.

I would recommend deleting and re-creating one of the Planned Spend expenses that the issue is occurring with, and then keeping an eye on things moving forward. I would also recommend leaving auto-release off for a bit and then turning it back on to see if doing so triggers the behavior.

Let us know how it goes!

@SRC54 I just clicked through my Spending Plans back to January this year. I'm not seeing this issue. Well, except for January where all my bills and subscriptions show up in Other Spending and I have no Planned Spending cats ever listed. But that has to do with some "reimagining" I did in January for my setup in QS.

@Coach Natalie Thanks. I have done as you requested. I deleted about 3 of them to include the ones in the present that keep changing back to old amounts. I've made a note of the ones I recreated and the ones I didn't.
